  • Amen

  • "nowhere has archeological discovery refuted the Bible" I'm going to disagree. For example the exodus out of Egypt was refuted by archaeology, Joshua's mass conquest of Canaan was refuted, as well as King David's huge empire, the Flood (though that is also a combination of fields), and as another note, physics does NOT vindicate genesis, it specifies a completely different order in which things happened and gives different details altogether. I suggest actual research.

  • Physics has not vindicated the genesis account, it has disproved it. Don't lie and expect anyone not to question you on it.

  • The Babylonians and Sumerians were first, genesis is clearly a copy. Wich is more likely to be distorted, the original or the copy? Both are fairitales.

  • God is a figment of your imagination.

  • Genesis is fiction:This is the teaching of amillenial covenant theology which is based on an allegorical interpretation of Scripture as opposed to a literal one .This is the dominant teaching in most theological seminaries and has been for decades. As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peaks

  • So Sumerians have accounts distorted by oral accounts but Hebrews do not?

  • Precisely, when a legend is built into mythology, it gets more fantastic as time progresses. What we find when comparing the Sumerian and Babylonian epics to that of Genesis is exactly the opposite... monotheism as opposed to poly, a boat design that is emmently seaworthy by modern engineering standards as aoopsed to a square raft. The Hebrew account has none of the earmarks of being built off of their tales, however the common thread speaks to a distant common ancestor.

  • I think you want to try building that boat. You seem to have a selective sense of credibility.

  • @bigwhammyRocks absolutly, theres just too many faiths to believe in all these astrological god myths. good post man.

  • So basically the author's of the Genesis account copied the creation story from ancient sumarian texts, much like several other key parts of the bible that were copied from other cultures and religions. This account is at best laughable!

  • Also, notice how it said "Sumarian creation myth",

just a story, fiction, same as the bible.

  • Interesting. Thanks for posting this.

  • This is BULLSHIT ! Christians trying to make the Bible scientific and historical and trying to sound intelligent. This is PATHETIC !

  • The Garden of Eden is a recast of Eridu, Nippur, & Anu's heavenly abode. Yahweh=Ea/Enki, Anu/An, Enlil/Ellil; Adam=Adapa, Enkidu; Eden's Serpent=Ea/Enki, Anu, Gishzida, Dumuzi; Eve=Shamhat, Inanna; Cherubim= Gishzida, Dumuzi, Huwawa. cf. bibleoriginsnet for the details figured out between 1862-1936 by PhD scholars in professional journals, tomes, monographs published by university presses like Yale, Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, etc. All this research being denied by Christian Apologists.

  • It's a false assumption and logical fallacy that antiquity = authenticity. Enki was Satan - the serpent in the garden. He is also a liar. The Sumerians got his version of the story with the fallen angel spin on it. God called a people for himself and they got the true version. The details of the accounts prove it. The shape of Noah's Ark is sea worthy - the Sumerian flood epic uses an absurd boat - its obvious which is the true and accurate account when deductive using reasoning.

  • Google " the Giza Discovery" by Peter Goodgame. it all fits together perfectly with a Biblical worldview.

  • If the only flood deposit at Shuruppak is the Euphrates' explain why there is no silt layer of a worldwide flood over the whole world, including Shuruppak. Creationists date the Flood ca. 2349 BC the Shuruppak flood was 2900 BC. No evidence for a flooded Mesopotamia and world in 3rd millennium BC, only local river floods. It is obvious there was no worldwide flood, the bible is untrue.

  • But that's a very bad date from a small sect of fringe young earthers... it was much more ancient.

  • Other myths have man made at two Sumerian cities Eridu and Nippur to replace the rebelling Igigi gods who object to the back-breaking toil in the city-gardens of edin/eden. Man is to be cruelly exploited, his toil gives the gods an eternal sabbath rest from earthly toil in edin's city-gardens. He will _never be expelled_ because then the gods would have to reassume their toil for food in their gardens of edin/eden. This is all being refuted by Genesis! cf bibleorigins net for details.

  • Naked primeval man wandered edin/eden with herbivores (antelope and wild cattle). He was an ignorant beast/savage The gods despised him. Later they take man to care for their city-gardens in edin, teach him it is wrong to be naked and clothe him, not out of love, out of self-serving design: Man will provide clothing, food, shelter ending godly self-toil for all this. Man is to be cruelly exploited as he works the city-gardens of edin in Sumer for selfish lazy gods! cf bibleorigins net

  • The Mesopotamians _agreed_ with the Hebrews: man was a sinner, but the reason "why" was different. Before man's creation the gods murdered each other, slew their fathers and mothers, raped goddesses, fornicated with each other, had incest with mothers and daughters, lied to each other. Man, made in their image, could be no better. Man was a liar, murderer, fornicator, rapist, incest, because his gods were too! The violence in the world was the gods' fault, not mans'. Sinner man was a victim.

  • Archaeology in no way supports a special creation event. The forms of life today evolved from earlier forms and that is well supported by the physical evidence.

  • Wrong field. Archaeology has nothing to do with attempting to support a special creation event. But cosmology has conclusively proven special creation. No scientist denies the big bang creation event anymore. Only crackpot atheists deny bigbang creation cosmology. General relativity mathematically poves that time had a beginning. Its not even a debate in science. Creation happened period. Now Paleontology has utterly destroyed the Darwinist mythology

  • Your a confused man. Alas, we can't all have sound brains and intelligence. That may be a little harsh because your just a product of your environment. Keep at it, you'll get there one day. Good luck.

  • bigwhammyRocks, The big bang had nothing to do with your god. How old do you say the Earth and the Universe is?

  • Bro,your videos are the greatest!

  • It's like a jungle sometimes!

Another great video brother. Archeology has verified so much of the Bible. Atheists used to claim the Cannaites and Hittites never existed... until archeology proved them wrong. They siad the same things about Jericho, the existance of King David, and many other things!

  • That is exactly true. There are multiple gods.Elohim in the bible is plural for gods not one god.

The Hebrews were monotheistic believing in multiple gods. This was changed in the old testament to simplify

    and empower one god.

The bible is a rewrite of the sumerians

    and therefore not credible.

  • prove it

  • The bible is a compilation of several religions that talk of many different gods but edited together to make it seem as if its one god. If you read closely, youll see that it makes specific reference to 4 different gods. Basically its a mix and match of bull crap.

  • I disagree, the similarities in ancient religions are evidence of variations on the oral tradition handed down by Noah's descendants after the tower of Babel incident.

Please do provide your scholarly evidence for this wild conjecture about 4 Gods in the Old Testament! This ought to be amusing.

  • there are too many problems with this, I am sure you have heard them all and quickly deleted them. :) So I will just say...

    Barking mad!

  • Marx and Darwin were also both part of the East India House... very suspicous anti-god pro-one world gov.peeps

  • 15 stars my Brother in Christ, I love the work you are doing for the Lord, may He bless you in every endeavor!!!

  • Thanks my brother in Christ.

  • The "Temptation" Seal is really a Sumerian Fertility pictogram. Doing a search of this item lead to 67 web sites all parroting the same story. However just LOOKING at it you notice two glaring problems. The male figure is wearing a crown and both figures are dressed in clothes. And, of course there is no fruit depicted. Just a Tree.

Oh and it dates to 3500 BC. This is, of course BEFORE the so called world wide flood.

  • Excellent video brother. Cultural legends and ancient writings support the Word of God! Very well done. Favorited.

  • Thanks again for making such great videos. I can't wait to see the next one.

  • More good stuff, as usual.

    Keep it up.

    These are GREAT teaching resources.

  • Great work. The Bible stands up to all tests.

  • no it does not.

  • This was great! I love it. You taught me a thing or two, perhaps three, lol!

  • Great stuff. I love archaeology. The more we dig, the more validation we find for the bible. Thanks for the video. I look forward to part two.

  • Awesome info *****

  • Thank you! I actually scripted and recorded the voice over through the flood. But there is such a wealth of corroborating evidence for the flood account it ran over the 10 minute mark.

Did you see the one I did on the New Testament? v=FfxK7G8TuaY
