I have played goalie in hockey, my point was goalie equipment is way to big nowadays.

@9999necron i think it's just right, i mean, teams are still capable of scoring 8+ goals in a game & goalies are capable of having shutouts and making lots of saves. if we made the equipment smaller it would make the goalie less sigifigant factor in a game, in football,soccer you may say, the goalie has barely any chance at stopping a breat away or a shootout shot, it makes the goalies a less signifigant player in the game. but you look at this years stanley Cup for example, goalies dominated.

It's cause he's getting shots in like 90mph so if he would track the puck he could get shot when he wasn't ready and that can end up bad.
