Modern medicine and hospital births means that a greater number of children and mothers are now surviving the child birth, until recently that "natural process" was the biggest killer of women. I did not go into labour with my daughter and at two weeks over due I had to go into hospital to be induced. The longer the wait the higher the risk of still birth as the plecenta beings to break down and can no longer support the baby. After 3 inductions I finally went into labour.

In the US, it is statistically shown that hospital births are the most risky. No other part of medicine has such a high malpractice rate as obstetrics.

this is true. no doubt they are making the birth process harder for women to go through. also periods. women would suffer a lot less pain with periods if they stopped eating refined sugar, drink lots of WATER, and eat RASPBERRIES by the bucketful or make teas with raspberries. this just stops the cramps - it's amazing. no doubt eating truckloads (not literally) of raspberries before giving birth would prepare the womb and ease the pain of contractions too.

why is this happening? Do we got to cross our fingers that our next life wont be as shady? This stuff is confusing. How does one take responsibility for his or hers current state if its not their fault. Isnt taking responsiblity the first step in moving forward?

I think that she is basing her opinions on a lot of 2nd hand information. How does she know that the soft spot is actually a portal into another dimention? I am not denying it, just wondering how she can be so sure. She also forgets that a lot of babies (AND MOTHERS too), died! before medical intervention. I started listening to her with interest and care and then she just sounded more and more flaky with every unsupported statement. Yes natural is better WHEN ALL GOES PERFECTLY WELL.

Ok now for a balanced review of this info. I am a mom of 2, 1 natural birth 1 c-section. Here is what I can tell you. Artificial oxytocin is given, called 'an induction' WHEN THE BABY IS IN FRIKEN DISTRESS! It only happens when the baby's LIFE IS AT STAKE. She does not mention this. Further, sometimes the water breaks and amniotic fluid is lost, this fluid is protective and prevents bactiria in canal, delivery must happen within 12 hours. And a screw in the soft spot? Never heard of it.

@MsPsychobanana Being a mother of 9, 4 hospital 4 home births (one delivery of twins), and a retired nurse that did a fair amount of time in O.B., I can tell you that your perceptions are not altogether correct. First, not all oxytocin is given only when the baby is in distress. The 'optimal' time for the amniotic sac to release the fluid is during the final stages of labor. The internal baby monitor is used by screwing a twisted metal sensor probe into the soft spot of the baby's scalp,

OH Come on! Shes a bit of a fear monger. Torture? Im not buying into all of what this lady has to say. Wait till the pulsing stops to cut the imbilcal yes. But what shes saying is a little to far off. ( Her second husband? lol and some people never feel like she did. haha wow.)

dont be fieghtened love and the awakening will pivale this is a last ditch fight by the dark family hey makes you wonder what a junkie baby goes thro screaming in agony from massive addiction as its mother didnt have the empathy to take the pain 1st rather than pass it on to a babay i am an x junkie 25 years clean but i feel its realy moraly uncool to give birth and pass on the agony now im 45 with no family i guess i can live with that
