Not to be an asshole, but if you only used the mortar and pestle for mixing, I'm pretty sure that mixing well enough with the diaper method will do the job more safely.

That mix is not really sensitive so it can be mixed in a mortar and pestle, but you always have to do it the safest way possible, while still making a good product. :P

chill out, ive been doing this for while. yes, while making it with a mortar and pestle is not technically the safest way, its not going to kill you. i didnt actually grind away at the mixture, just simply stirred. this video isnt about making bombs, flash powders are used for break charges for fireworks.
