@MetalMrJohnny In the real siege Vercingetorix ordered a cavalry charge on the Roman fortifications which surrounded the city, and while the attack was costly, some of the Gauls were able to break through the line. Gaius Julius suspected that they were going for help (he was really fighting a huge rebellion so there were always men willing to join the fight against the Romans) and he ordered for another wall to be built facing outward, so that his men could defend from both sides.

@MetalMrJohnny (part 2) The actual fight for Alesia consisted of the Gallic relief army attacking the Roman siege lines, while the defenders of the city launched simultaneous sorties outward. Vercingetorix was taken alive and pulled around Rome in a cage like an animal. He died in a few years later.

this is all wrong julius caesar(jc) jc made a wall around the people and have them starve the leader of the gaul sent out the women and children out to the romans(r) JC said no but the leader of the gaul said no so they in the middle gauls sent out horse men to fight while that happen the Gallic reenforcement came and went through the river pass and hit the roman in the back but JC fought him off then take the city

great work I searched up rome total war to see what it would come up with... This is better than I ever could expect!! Voices of Caesar and Vergintorix are awesome, just like the background information for the people who know the story, with Pompeius and all that. Shame ofcourse you couldnt make 2 walls like in the real story but still a veryyyyyyyy nice job!!!!

ps The Roman Empire was actually a very opened minded with different races. they considered Gaul a nation of barbarians because their style of life.

Rome considered the Druids enemies because, well, they were. they fought against Rome at the invasion of Britannia.

They killed Jews because the Jews never accepted roman rule like others had before. the Jews revolted many times

nicely made video, but you are potraying the romans much more 'heroic' than they truelly were, the romans did not even charged at alesia, they just let the gaul to starve while they were building fortifacations all around the city, and they just forced the gauls to rush out, and ceasar calling a gaul "butcher"?! bah! gauls should have wiped out the romans when they had the chance...

On the voice work front I'd also like to commend Nicholas Werner (The creator) and Jason Foley for NOT casting themselves as the main characters and I'd like to give a special appreciation to Galen Davis for possibly THE BEST voice of Julius Caesar ANYWHERE!
