While there may still be a remnant of a rich white establishment backed by Washington and London, the main victims that now suffer under apartheid are in fact white Afrikaners.

The regular Afrikaners are just farmers, not part of the Anglo establishment that ran the government, and now they suffer from rampant discrimination and hate crimes. South Africa has become a Black Supremascist apartheid State with a few token white elites.

@TaleOfValors - You have to go back to the Berlin Conference of 1884 to understand this. Most of Africa was used as a private piggy bank by the colonizers (learn about Leopold in the Congo and rubber (good book, King Leopold's Ghost)). It was a place to take from with no intentions of giving back. South Africa (also Namibia) were the only places were the colonizers really settled in large numbers, so it was important to keep some of the wealth there.

@kynismos - The wealth was kept in South Africa. It wasn't shipped abroad. Almost all trains in other parts of Africa were designed to go to the coasts...to leave the continent with nothing returned to it.

To say that ALL white wealth in South Africa is illegitimate remains a racist comment. I think you agree with me that one cannot make such blanket statements about any race without being racist and therefore I believe that we are of the same understanding on this matter. I think you reacted to my comment thinking that I thought all white wealth was legitimately acquired.
