Mr. Solo should know that under the Obama health care plan, his son would not be allowed to be discriminated against by private health insurance companies, which his son would still have access to, and he would be guaranteed treatment under a public option, too. His son would have choice, as well as a guarantee of care regardless of his condition.

And to the lady who wanted to know if this would be coming out of her paycheck? The short answer is NO.

All these meetings do is give you an opportunity to tell your doctor what treatment to pursue, should you become too ill to speak for yourself. If you tell your doctor to keep you alive, your doctor will have no choice BUT to follow your wishes. That's all end-of-life planning is. Many people already do this voluntarily. Don't let the Republicans frighten you out of this because of baseless lies. They're just trying to keep their pay outs from Big Insurance.
