Yes people do refer to master Tolkein by his full name and i just dont like what the movies put in and how they put it in. Scientists spent years on biological warfare but for that should they be celebrated and their work promoted? Just because someone spent hard work and time on something does not mean we should support it and blindly follow because they did it. Actually I do think compared to other movies this is the best of its kind ever made, but compared to the book it is one of the worst

@Classicalguitarist22 Your obviously one of those people who can't enjoy a film without having every little detail from book to film perfected. I'm sorry to say, but your going to be horribly dissapointed when you hear of other books going to be made into films. Some parts of books WILL be dropped and HAVE to be dropped. For instance: Gofindel riding to the aid of Frodo in friends in the Throllshaws, and never seen again in the books. But of a waste of a character, isn't it?

Brain imbassile to try and make a motion picture of it. There really was a reason why Master Tolkein, while living, refused everyones propposition to make it into a motion picture. Although more than a few chaps tried.

@Classicalguitarist22 Everyone is intilted to what they believe. But I really do think your being far too harsh on the film and the people who spent years working on it. Of course things from the book would have to be dropped, otherwise it would span into another, what, eight films? You could say, it'd be better, since Harry Potter has gotten away with it.

And really, I think the only person who called him by his whole name was his mother when he was in trouble as a boy....

By being unintelligant specimans of intelligant life forms and incorrectly protraying the characters and events. Not to mention 1/2 of the 3/4 that they left out of the book was the best part. 3/4 of what they did not leave out was at minimum 1/2 wrong. In essence, I like less than 1/2 of the less than 1/2 that they correctly filmed of the less than 1/2 of the book that they included in the peter jackson direction lord of the rings movie. The book is too complex and well writen for some pea bra
