Twilight princess is the onyl game link shows any emotion back to a girl. for example: when Link sprints up the hill ewhne he sees her she says "What? say somehting! or am i so beautiful that you have no words left?" I agree. In other games, the game pretty much leaves it up to you to decide how Link feels about other characters you interact with (with the obvious exception bad guys). But in Twilight Princess, Link showed a ton of emotion towards Midna. It wasn't all positive, of course. In the beginning of the game, he shows a lot of annoyance with her. In wolf form, he growls when she lands on his back. A few temples in though, he stops growling.

When she was sick, he seemed worried about her. Then later on in the game, he catches her when she falls, runs towards her when she gets thrown back by Ganon Zelda, and of course runs towards her when he sees her on the hill.

What was the point of such an act. In Hyrule she would have been able to start a new life and be with Link. She would have the support she needed against Ganondorf. That was not a very good move on her part. She did not think it through enough. Link must have been thinking what the fuck is wrong with you Midna. Zelda was probably thinking the same thing to. They could not believe it. Hell I'm surprised they did not even try to stop her. Link had better find a way to repair the damn mirror.

I am still in shock of Midna destroying the mirror. Didn't she even remember Ganondorf's words. He said the history of Light and Shadow will be written in blood. Destroying the mirror will not stop him. That was stupid. Holy fuck Midna did not even consider her options and the consequences of such an act. Ganondorf got there no problem and he will press this advantage and without Link and the Master Sword. Midna is in alot of fucking trouble. She better find a way to correct this problem.

The whole problem started in Twilight Princess when the two sides interacted. (IE Ganondrof being sent to the Twilight Realm)

Midna obviously thought that for the saftey of both the worlds the mirror should be destroyed. She was right in her thought that keeping the worlds seperate would give each a better chance of preventing future occurences, like that of Ganondorf and Zant.

Don't get me wrong, I ADORE Link/Minda (Mostly because it threw the chance of Link/Ilia out the window.)

people, i think, no, know that midna and link will be together again. or at least are able. look...if zant, the fake ruler, is able to travel back and forth from the light and twilight world shouldn't midna,the real ruler, be able to do the same? so if she is she would at one point maybe come back to see him. so it's possible that they could see each other again.

Though, we all know what she was going to say at the end (or at least what she was thinking)... but like most of the games, links "friends" are there for either 1 or 2 games, then thats pretty much it. Really, only permant girl so far is zelda, and thats cause she is the game most of the time.
