I am basing my opinion on my own personal way of playing poker, as well as the school of thought of some big name players, namely Freddy Deeb and Daniel Negreanu. In no limit hold 'em, I would NEVER call the clock on anyone, especially if there are TONS of chips in the pot, and especially if I am NOT EVEN involved in the hand. And at that juncture, there are tens of thousands of dollars and position on the line. I would only call the clock if it were limit, since it is just one more bet.

Pt. 2: Personally, I would never want to influence another player into make a decision they shouldn't have made or change their mind from their first instinct, especially if I'm bluffing, semi-bluffing, or they have the potential to hand me a bad beat. I would want as few outside factors as possible influencing their decision. Pt. 3: I found Tiffanys excuse to be pretty poor, considering that she could have strategized what she would have done with her remaining chip stack during those 15-20 minutes instead of becoming fed up and calling the clock. Yes, I know, it's an eternity for a hand, but sometimes you have to be spartan ... or even samurai about things like this. This is what separates the rockstars from the groupies. Her lack of patience could be exploited in the future (eg. What I mentioned before.)

The only other time that would justify the clock is if that player ate up time repeatedly on other hands. If that other player spent several minutes on a few previous hands and hes doing it now, it probably would then be OK to call the clock.

Pt. 5: All in all, people need to be judicious about calling the clock. Just because you can, doesnt always mean you should.

Besides, the more time a player spends thinking about a hand, the more s/he opens her/himself up for observation. 15 min is a TREASURE TROVE of time as a spectator to observe other players and pick up tells and tendencies, then use that information to bust them in future hands.

When faced with lemons, make lemonade (and/or super acidic lemon juice) as a way to get even.

LOL, so making a deep run at the main event makes you a pro? I've played against some pros who made deep in main event. My friend played against players like Maria Ho, Phi Nguyen, etc and outplayed them very often while he visits Commerce and Hawaiian Gardens. I've played against a humble pro who made deep when Greg Raymer won it all. He even said that good run of cards and having lot of luck will help as long as you have common poker sense. He even said I'm capable of running deep if I'm lucky.

If I was at that table, I would've put my head down on the table and slept, which would imply that Snead needs to hurry up since I'm falling asleep, instead of being a total bitch by putting heavy pressure on her opponent.
