i love this! Before i watched this i already knew about reading water and riffles runs and pools, but you explain it in a great manner. Also, i love how you make the fishing like hunting! Its truly an art... i need to get back on the water! haha

He was only wading to show the depth characteristics of the stream segments in the beginning and to show the viewers the isopods. If you claim to know so much about streams then you would know that they are dynamic and are always changing. Thus, they are constantly being disturbed. You probably didn't notice the severe bank erosion but I'm sure he caused that as well(also a sarcastic bastard). Next you'll probably tell us that burning prairies to prevent succession is wrong.

(Laughing really hard now) Watching the video, and yes I under stand that he was just trying to give a relationship to characteristics of the stream and depth using himself as a visual reference, good videos, just bustin' yer chops that's all. I just had a personal lol moment had to share. I'm sure he wasn't planning on catching anything there, just being instructional.
