yeah, kurds are a tribe in northern iraq that Saddam Hussein tried to exterminate using chemical weapons like sarin, VX, and many other weapons to kill them during his regime. That's why she said that "We were hunted like dogs day after day" and its true that the goverments of the world haven't helped them, because they are a ethnic minoritarian group. Correction: Kurds are not a iraqi tribe. Kurds are an ethnic people, just like Swedes, French and so on. Kurds are an indo-european people. Kurds are estimated about 45 million worldwide. Kurds are the descendants of medes. But what I meant was to tell that kurds are not arabs, turks, persians, or any other. Kurds history goes back over 10000 years (Halaf period, check wikipedia). Although we had diffrent names for our people (medes, guti, hurrian (some), carduc peoplehi) during history .

It doesn't matter if you liked it or not. What matters is that Hideo Kojima and the rest of the staff forgot to take in consideration Solid Snake's character limits, and this is beyond what he could actually do. Only someone like Gray Fox would be able to do that.

Awesome writing if you have the bosses your supposed to want to kill... then you do and you feel sorry for them, Sniper Wolf, Psycho mantis even made me feel sad. Vulcan Raven made me feel that he knew he was going to die. And it is the characters you really wanted to kill that just wont, like Ocelot and Liquid :P

MGS just seemed to have captured the right balance between fantasy, drama, and real life politics.

Sorry its not action movie dumb, but all of the dialogue character-wise is wholely believeable. Sorry its not Tom Cruise-good ( Read: shit), but as far as the japanese and american audience are concerned, this is easily the best dramatized game created. Everything is within probability with a small dose of imaginitive creativity. the Term Lung shot would make sense if you wanted to use a small but desctriptive term to describee the injury. Sorry it wasn't " the bullet perforated my lung."

You can toss out all the bull you want about originality or creativity, but the fact is it has the same watered down, pseudo-philosophical dreck that all Japanese-style, story-based games suffer from. Maybe something's lost in translation or maybe it's a cultural difference, but whatever the case, the dialog here is stiff and drawn out, and the story telling is plodding and seemingly lost in it's own pretension.
