Although as a huge fan of the pre-2000s spider-man comics this booster looks tempting. Old school versions of classic spidey villians, Spider-hulk, cosmic spider-man , doppelganger and black tuantula.

Im getting into heroclix soon. Just some casual play with my friend. Missing the old days of star wars minis. Anyway how much does a standard booster pack cost? Im assuming the same 15$ price point as the old star wars miniatures boosters. Although i think im going to mostly buy those single figure boosters so if i get screwed over i don't feel the sting too bad. Im lower income so most of what little play cash i get goes towards used ps2 games so those 3$ boosters are perfect for my situation.

I opened a brick yesterday, for my first pack I got a deadpool (I thought, wow, good omen)...but unfortunately, I didn't like the other two super rares (Red She-Hulk and Groot)....I would have preferred The Spot, to be honest, than those two non-spidey villains. the nightcrawler figure works great with groot. which is an ultra rare. because he gets a part in his dial when he becomes a collosal character, cant move, but he has a 13 fist, 19 sheild with impervious, and doing 6 damage! so you could use nightcrawlers special where if he uses hypersonic and lands an attack he can take that character with him. just have him bring that guy to groot and just have him fucking slam him. this tactic works great at tournaments.

Did you check to see if you got the Nightcrawler varient? The plaque on the wall he is on will say "2008 Heroclix World Champion Benjamin Cheug" It's the equivilent of getting a chase figure.

The new Black cat is ok. But her old E version is a bit better cuz shes got LEAP/CLIMB shes a little bit cheaper and she us PC on both you and your opponent. Its going to really suck when youre trying to hit Nightcrawler with a 19 def and you cant use the new Black cats PC on your turn.

Some of these look so freaken awesome! Especially that Red Hulk. Really cool.  The Anti-Venom looked sloppy to me, but that's not really one of the super rares or anything.

@ShartimusPrime Yeah some were kinda sloopy for sure but the ones that were more rare have more detail. I still like them, and love beating people in the game haha. Red Hulk looks amazing and is a beast. Cosmic Spider-man looks ok but is just waiting to crush people.

@gundamfanandhobbiest the normal spider-man I got is a common figure so yeah he should not be that hard to get. You can try to pull one or I might be able to get you one. if you get one or two packs you will probably get around 5 to 6 common figures. with a chase to get someone cool as well

overall, the set looks pretty good. i opened a case last night, though was kind of dissapointed in some of the Sr's i got. did get a Cosmic Spiderman and a Bombastic Bagman though as well as a few rares i wanted. only one Carnage though. Its odd how they were originaly supposed to be Chase Figs and than inserted into the normal distribution as Sr's. if you look at the stat cards, they are still coded as chase and not Sr's. none the less decient brick... now trade me that Green Goblin.

That is indeed a nice Brick, quite a lot of doubles though... in my brick i got about 10 doubles, but half of them were Generic people. did you get the "Chase" Night Crawler? the normal one has the Xaver school of the gifted (Or what ever) and the "Chase" version has something else there... or so I've read (1 in 10 chance according to what I read)

@LegoLee329 Yeah they are random but there is also some standard stuff that you can expect. like within a brick which was what I showed its wrapped together and there is 10 boosters. Within that you should get 3-4 super rare figures. Then in every pack you get 1 rare figure. Then a combination of common figures and uncommon figures.
