@zxbryc I'm sorry to break it to you, but 8bitmagicalplug rips sounds used in chiptune. Not steals, it just reproduces them to use on your producing software. If you're gonna get into chiptunes, download a real chiptune tracker. Best move you'll make. :)
I still use fl studio to write my songs, I just export a midi and load them into the tracker to add the effects and make it a real chiptune.
@WOAHFOX haha, i wasn't actually being serious, i hate that thing! FL is great : - ) I've used FL for 5 years, so i'm used to it - trackers too, but can't make anything near as good. I write tracker-style music in FL, going as far as simulating tracker effects with automation clips.
I'm a bit new to this, but I can point out a few things if they help you, dunno, let's try.
When using cube arpeggios, you have to use multiple instruments with the same waveform, only progressively shortened. This results in higher tones are you progress (the white number with the instrument). Thus you have to make melodies in another way - he uses only two basic notes but alternates the instruments. Also, check the cyan numbers for different volume settings. the 37 is vibrato, try it out.
this is NOT chiptune! chiptune is "8bitMagicalPlug" and peach vst

You are right about most things, but:
the 037 is in fact the arpeggio, it's a minor chord 0 - 3rd - 7th note, major would be 047.
For vibrato you set the first number of the effect table to 4 and then speed and range i.e. 482.

thank you, but I'm 2 months more experienced now ;D
But thanks for being a helpful person!

It would be more helpful if you were talking and walking the viewer through what you were dong.

Just a note, this effect is really a combination of several other effects, each of which can be investigated on their own:
The different samples are an example of pulse width modulation (PWM) sweeping.
The volume changes are acting as a low-resolution volume envelope.
Arpeggiated notes are a built-in effect of most tracker software.
