great place ! what time of year was that ?! and did you notice more birds and wild animals beside the buffalo and the yellow bird who was singing there ?
We had Gobinda as a guide too! He was fantastic and showed us the Gosa Kund trek with views of Langtang Mountain. Really knowledgeable guide! We considered not taking a guide at first, but I really recommend it. We would never have managed to pack so much in to the 5 days we had. Do contact him directly! His email is: gobinda_dhakal2003@yahoo.com +9771 9841129883.
Just reminds me of Kenya where I was raised! People full of natural Life. Love It. I had similar lifestyle till I was 18 yrs old, We even used to play soccer barefoot when I was a teen. Man, I miss those moments.
No more complaining about a 1 hour bus commute from me, la de da de da....But seriously, the fact that these kids walk 2 hours down hill and then back up both coming and going to school is inspiring.

I have been a little depressed lately my friends are breaking apart and its just been tough but leija you always bring me back. when I started watching your videos about a year ago you made me the happiest person but when I started drifting away from that it just became not fun in life and i didnt see things as beautiful! Thank you for this video bringing me peace!
Jus Beyooootiful!! How I miss the majestic paradise of the Himalayas and its wonderful peeps - always smiling n joking. I did th everest basecamp trek 11yrs ago, best experience of my life. One of my fav things to do was lookout for th random objects they carryup up the steppes by th brute strength of their backs.....most memeorable was a satelite dish! haha. Did you ride n wash the elephants bare back in Chitwan? How FUN is this??!!! keep it up guys \m/
I cannot imagine how wonderful it must have felt to be there, but just from watching your video it has brought me a sense of peace and hope. Thankyou so much for sharing! You are wonderful.
Absolutely amazing. I'm so happy for both of you! Look what you two have manifested! I look forward to exploring such beautiful lands myself. Love and light
Most people can't hold a camera, but you do it right. You understand just how important slow, steady pans are, not being too zoomed in, not being too zoomed out - and that's part of what makes these videos like a window into another world. It really does get through.
wowowow!!!! thanks for sharing : )))) hey, maybe you guys can relocate felipe's decorated barn and live in the middle of the mountain, like that one house (all alone : ))) omg!!!!
@Mueiwark OMG I KNOW! When that butterfly flew by I thought, "Damn, this is just too perfect!" lol! I actually starting crying after filming that part because I was so overwhelmed by it all. :)
@zero021one :)) Oh yeah, when I was up in those mountains, I definitely got that "This place probably hasn't changed much in centuries" feeling. Truly incredible! :)
@sweetloveelmo I'm not sure exactly where we were. All I remember is that it was filmed on day 4 of our trek. I think we may have been about a 2 hr trek from an area called "Tikhe Dhunga"
@LeijaTurunen Well, when you happen to walk by the famous prayer flags of Nepal ( or is it Ladak?), don't forget to set your intentions for the world. It is a custom over there and it is believed ( in Buddha tradition ) that the spirits in the wind will take care of them!! They realy have spirits in the air. Did you feel them??
I know I would. This is Your chance, Leija and Felipe.
problems with my video, so will watch this later. Read your review underneath. Many thanks for sharing and being so caring... you really are an angel.

@justtony789 I feel that too! :) I also feel that my soul was calling me to Nepal so Nepal could contribute some of its energy to me! :) Nepal has already taught me so much & I will be forever grateful for my time here! :)

@rolovolo Oh yeah, this trek was AMAZING! SO MUCH BEAUTY & TRANQUILITY.....complete opposite of the cities in Nepal! Well, the cities are beautiful, but in a polluted, dusty, dirty, loud & intense kinda way. ;-)
