It was a major hit here in Vancouver Cda back in "71 I beleive but this Mr. Whiz didn't even make it ashore here back in the Doowop era as did 99% of the Rockabilly posted here on the Net. Nope Mr. Whiz wasn't even a hitbound tune here.....so just where did it make it ashore, I would presume down in the deep south hey!, correct me if I'm wrong was Rockabilly was a no show here, it was all mainstream r&r.
