@mandienpete08 it evaporated in the lower atmosphere so theres nothin to really see when its done for, just friction...like plane turbulance..if it was made of ice, it simply melted
My friend and I were on the freeway Heading south near an exit in Springville, Utah when out of nowhere facing west i see some light starting to get brighter and brighter i looked up to make sure it was just me or if this was really happening and as i look my heart dropped so fast! lol I was all freaking out and tellin him to look up and he was like "wtf is that??" and it became clear as 1 pm n the afternoon it was so nuts! i was thinkin "holy s***! lol one of the weirdest experiences in my life
Notice how the light separates night into day. Check out the other fireball sights... especially the ones in South Africa (Sept. 2009), Canada (Nov. 2008 & Nov. 2009), and Colorado (Apr. 2010). This is not an isolated event.
@AK9B Yes, it's scary. Lot of people freaked out. My wife was in the living room watching TV and the whole living room lit up as if the sun was inside. Knowing it was midnight and seeing the power of this phenomenon we can only think or imagine what other things could happen to our fragile earth!
I actually saw this bad ass all the way here in Iceland, It just happened to appear in the exact gap between two houses I conveniently was looking through.
Really? Surprised you could see it from that latitude. What time was it in Iceland? Aren't you nine hours ahead, so it would have been about 9:00 a.m.? Is it still dark in Norway at that hour due to your northern exposure?
what really bothers me about this is the simple fact i havent seen ANY big news corp. talk about this at all(and fox and cnn are the only channels i get...its fucked)
God made them to destroy devils... I believe in that you don't have to.

CNN has not made a report. But, BBC (London) has a report on the meteor. At least we went International!!!
Check out this link on BBC:
news [dot] bbc [dot] co [dot] uk /2/hi/science/nature/8367760.stm
Youtube does not allow links, so I put in brackets the dots and you can follow the rest of the address to see the news report at BBC.
