  • He said 5.5 billion? Just last year? You gotta be kidding me! We just hit seven billion!

WE ADDED 1.5 BILLION PEOPLE IN 1.5 YEARS??

  • @Wazabooz.....since oil.....1.5 + 5 =

  • The only reason for using oil is money. Once other sources prove to be cheaper energy we will switch.

Thats why motor industries are getting nuts about building hybrids and electric cars. We improve transport infrastructure to use less energy. We improve thermal insulation of buildings in which we living. We even "tackle CO2 emmisions" which can't help global warmming but surely can save natural resources. We even reduced speed limit on our motorways - surely not for safety.

  • I fell very strongly that Peak Oil is a myth that the energy compines have been selling to us the sheep. I fell that Mr. Ruppert is not lieing I fell he got duppped on this one. He has been right on a great many things on this one I fell he is wrong. I have forgotten his name but if u search Peak Oil this mans name pops up. He worked as a pastor on the North Slope Oil Fields and he has said something different. Both may be telling the truth to them but no one truly know the truth. Look him up...

  • @thegreatokie u bring up a good point.lindsey williams and michael rupert are directly opposed on this topic.one has to be full of shit.

im with michael, 80% lindsey 15% with a 5% possibility they're both full of shit.

  • @miserkocho-When it comes to the subject of "OIL" the person that knows best on that subject is Lindsey Williams, he talked to and lived with the "so-called" elites. He wrote a book (THE ENERGY NON-CRISIS) where he names people by their first and last names and he says that these people, in point of fact, run the world. He never once got sued, because he and the "so-called" elites knew it was true and furthermore they did not want the truth coming out in court documents.

  • @BLACKPUSSYPUNISHER ur right, michael ruperts experience lies in the police force and the cia smuggling drugs and weapons.for what he has done exposing such things,he's a courageous man.my argument with lindsey williams is most of his information although correct,is mostly predictable.imho the flaw in his peak oil argument is that he misinterprets the statistics.watch "the most important video on youtube".this explains the arithmetic of official statistics when population growth is considered.

  • collapse is on netflix for those who have it

  • There are lots of fear mongerers out there, and Mikey here is one of them. The day of collapse keeps on getting postponed, delayed, pushed back.

He barks out the same message year after year. It has gotten stale. To the new listeners/watchers, he is fascinating. But after a while, you shrug him off, because his credibility takes a dive. We know the world is in financial trouble, it is a slow but sure descent into the gutter.

  • @cheeriosinabowl <------- Troll...

  • @Campcouch

    you = idiot.

  • @cheeriosinabowl

Michael never said there would be a "Collapse Day", he always said the collapse would a slow descent, lasting anywhere from 20-40years where the quality of life would surely and steadily decline and lead to population decline. Anytime that an economic recovery would be in the crossights, oil would always recover faster and keep that recovery in check, essentially originating another recession and so on for 20-40 years.

In case you missed the memo, that's happening NOW

  • @goma3

.... I have missed nothing and thanks a heap for your response. Now goodbye.

  • @cheeriosinabowl

    ahahahah

    comedians....

  • How much does it cost to watch this guy toot his horn for 90 mins?

  • Ruppert speaks a lot of general truths and facts though I find his paranoid doomsday conspiracy theory conclusions hard to swallow.

  • Glad to see his a live and looking better than I thought. Have not read anything from him in a few years, after his last posting on "FromtheWilderness". The Govt sure screwed him after their move to Oregon.

    Thanks for posting series.

  • We need more men like him with courage and enthusiasm !

  • You people are fucking.....STUPID !!!!

  • I agree that Michael having an income problem due to piracy sucks, and would encourage everyone to buy rather than download, but when you look at the bigger picture, it has an obvious silver lining. The more people know about this, the better chance of us surviving it. Thoughts?

  • @homestar440 yeah its a damn shame he couldn't get rich off selling fear like he wanted.

  • Mel IS da man..

  • That's cool, but Peak Oil is a hoax.

  • Soylent green is peeeeeeeople!

  • I'm so scared... what should I be doing until D-Day hits?

  • Good news, Fusion will come and the entire energy needs will instantly be met for eons to come. You should check out the Italian scientist who shows his working cold fusion generator, btw who has a patent on the workings of this device.Lawrence Livermore is working on fusion and has admitted it has already concluded results. This technology will completely meet all our planets needs for energy, it just took a long time to work out the mathematics and the nessesary machines to create this reaction

  • Dude, good job, you ROCK !

  • Your right concerning the corruption. But there is no shortage of oil or natural gas those that control it know this Its surprising you don't keep digging just another method of control and domination from the top down. Wicked kings with darkened hearts. No worries the one true king and pontate has his own agenda all will workout in it's time

  • Love this guy, but the term fossil fuel is not accurate.

  • I always love to see all the "armchair experts" who piggyback on to someone who is out there really doing something. Instead of posting here and showing your brain "muscle", start a blog, shoot a video. Take the muzzle of yourselves and let the water run over your boot tops, we're in for the fight of our lives. Understand that you may not have a roof over your head next year.

And yes, I get up early every morning and post to my own podcast, not much, but it's something.

  • Michael is right even though that isn't what is currently collapseing the world economies it is manipulation of fiat currencies and monopolies with unionized workforces. You see it a company is too big to fail or so big it needs a union for the little guy to be heard it should be considered a monopoly and split up. Greed killed america. By the way we are building "lifeboats" called Biospharms in safe places to sustain famalies. Darinsmith@inbox.com

  • Thanks Michael, monopolies that have gone about sucking the life out of our system have much to blame for the great depression coming. Our goverment allowed it for the ease of collecting bribes. We need states rights back and extremely tight monoply laws enforced right now. That along with term limits would allow the reconstruction to go smooth.

  • @dieudutonnerre

the problem is you are talking in the future tense. we don't really have any time or resources left. you are probably aware that most governments have already blown away any resources we had on propping up an inherently rotten system.

Our model was built on the faulty expectation of unlimited resources and unlimited growth. We are now unwinding a 700 trillion derivatives bubble which was predicated on unlimited cheap fossil fuel and resources. I'm afraid it is already too late.

  • @dieudutonnerre

i would think there is also a big risk of these bioengineered organisms spreading outside the control environment as well.

  • @dieudutonnerre

how would you secure an open pond system? all that would be required is a spark to set the whole pond on fire.

  • Comment removed

  • @dieudutonnerre

er right....and you will make 21 million barrels a day with bacteria....good luck with that.

as mike says - we have no plan B.

  • Michael Ruppert is a CHAMPION! A true crusader of truth and justice for all!

  • I'm going to party out the next 2 years, fuck this . . . lol.

  • i loev you michzael thank for enlighting us

  • By the end of 2010 the gross national debt will be around 95% of GDP. Only thing that Mr. Bernanke can do is to print the road to hell. This is nothing like 1929-1933 depression because the whole world is expanding debt in extreme speed and doing nothing. When we wake up it wil be too late for any action. The NWO will be presented when that hapends. Sad but true.

  • I realized peak oil about 10 years ago. I was investing and studying investment. A limited number of refineries don't always keep up with supply forcing gas stations to shut down. Why? The price of fuel didn't even rise it just ran out. The reason competition doesn't build more refineries is the fact oil can't be pumped out of the ground any faster in the future. Each year almost every oil well slows production. Up North oil pipe lines aren't being replace, even maintained.

  • @smkynugget420 So here's a stoner coming on here (and by the look of your channel, a beer drinking child who blows stuff up with firecrackers) telling us the mathematics of oil consumption...thus Michael Ruppert must be dead wrong and this is all a panic. Learn to do your research. America (alone) uses 21 million barrels PER DAY. Read that again. The entire Horizon spill would only last **10 days** onshore and be used up. We need a Horizon well discovered every 2 weeks to keep USA going as-is.

  • @rightsideofhistory

    Hey thanks for the upload.

I must come to the defense of stoners though, as I am a friendly pothead from Amsterdam myself; yet I do believe Mike Ruppert has his facts straight about peak oil. Furthermore I have a great respect for him since his presentation about 9/11 so soon after the event, and the part about Brzezinski truly convinced me.

Still, let's "hope" they do come up with this abiotic oil in great quantities, it might reduce the death toll Mike predicted.

  • @FightTheElite

listen man - we will go either way. even if an alternative like this is found if we continue burning hydrocarbons the global climate is toast. We are currently at 390 ppm CO2 in the atmosphere and the breaking point according to NASA is 350 ppm. So it's pretty much over already. sad but true.

  • @zarni000

Well, if you think the climate is the main concern I certainly will not argue against that.

However, what has been most compelling for me has been the series of 8 videos called "Arithmetic, Population and Energy" (available on youtube) made by some physics professor, which is the clearest warning I have yet seen. The maths and facts he descibes are hard to dispute and even harder to ignore, and no intellectually honest person can call him an alarmist or a conspiracy theorist.

  • Comment removed

  • @zarni000 I guess we'll have to stop volcanos erupting then.

  • @Puzzoozoo ???

  • @zarni000 That's me.

  • Volcanos emit co2.

  • @Puzzoozoo

    yeah...i think i'm aware of that..so?

  • @zarni000 So the planet will do what it wants to do, and burning hydrocarbons is irrelvant.

  • @Puzzoozoo

er right....and because you are the authority.... where do u live under a rock or something? the human race emits tons of CO2 which would not be in the atmosphere if we werent releasing it from fossils that took millenia to form and store that CO2

  • @zarni000 Yep, I have a PhD in common sense from the University of the Bloody Obvious. So humanity emits tons of co2, so what an erupting volcano can release more co2 then America does in a week.

  • @Puzzoozoo

Seems like you have the same degree as Dubbya...

And it could...nobody is arguing that. the point is we do that in addition to volcanos day in and day out...

  • @zarni000 He has the American version, the British one is better. WE have a tiny influence on the planet. Compared to the Suns, ours is nothing. It used to be called global warming till that was shown to be bunk, now its called climate change. The global climate has been changing ever since there was one, the scientis don't even know what causes climate change let alone an ice age. Climate change is now the new global religion and all opponents are treated as heritics.

  • @Puzzoozoo

err...yeah only that it's now almost universally accepted by all scientists in this field. there was some doubt a few years back but now it's over. the right wing especially in this country is trying to fuel controversy in doubt but their foundation for it is like yours...no scientific basis...

  • @zarni000 The global warming effect was 'almost universally accepted' till mother nature didn't play ball. The human made climate change believers scientists are engaged in universal guess work, nothing more.

  • @Puzzoozoo

well perhaps but their "guesswork" is much better founded than yours...

  • @zarni000 Mine is based on evidence from the Earth's past, theirs is based on a computer model using false data.

  • @Puzzoozoo

BS....it's already been shown empirically that the temperatures have changed, arctic is melting...where have you been living? under a rock?

not to mention it is largely irrelevant whether it is increasing or decreasing temperature (as some right wingers will want you to believe now) - the point is it's fucking up the world. it doesn't bear mentioning all the mercury that is dumped into atmosphere from fossil fuels and the fact the oceans and rain is turning acidic

  • @zarni000 "it's already been shown empirically that the temperatures have changed" you seem to be basing your view on the infamous "hockey stick" graph. Oh dear oh dear. Arctic ice has always ebbed and reformed. The world moves to its own routine with the Suns 11 year phases of activity not humanities. As for mercury, mercury emissions you have little idea how small mercury emissions are. As for the acid rain ect here's a bit of advice, mother nature isn't a conservationist.

  • @Puzzoozoo

    you are a moron....

lol small is relative. go check the latest on concentrations in fish (tuna especially) - way above what the FDA

    allows.

YEAH mother nature is not a conservationist - she is a creationist. We are destroyers and we will destroy ourselves in the process....then mother nature will create something better to replace us

i'm done with this nonsense conversation.

  • @zarni000 You are a closed minded bigot, without any freewill, to mesmerized by the new global religion of 'climate change', I'm afraid that's an 'Inconvenient Truth' for ignorant ppl like you. As for mother nature, she has exterminated 98% of all spices. And tuna numbers lke all things in nature fluctuate, the north sea is teeming with fish around the oil rigs, and are in no danger of vanishing.

  • @Puzzoozoo

I did not say tunas are decreasing in numbers you idiot. I said that they are loaded with toxic metals which accumulate in any longer living sea predator.

No mother nature does not exterminate anybody. Those who cannot evolve perish on their own.

You apparently haven't yet made the leap in evolution to start thinking for yourself. I do not need anybody to tell me anything. I actually have eyes myself and a brain that is capable of analytical thinking...

  • @zarni000 I thought you were done. Toxic metals are in us as well, if the levels of toxic metals in tuna was that high you'd see them dieing off en mass, and humas who eat then would be dieing as well through toxic metal poisoning. I didn't say she exterminates everyone, but the great exterminations have killed off most species starting with the first mass extinction 540 million years ago. "I do not need anybody to tell me anything" Does that include Al Gore?

  • @Puzzoozoo

have you perhaps heard of heavy metal toxicity in humans? it seems not. toxicity doesn't necessarily kill you however it is a neuro toxin - especially mercury and lead. it is linked to many mental issues. it would probably also make your life much shorter than otherwise but it normally doesn't kill you outright.

you seem to be out of touch with modern knowledge of most aspects that one would assume even a kid would be familiar with.

  • @zarni000 You seem to be unaware the Japanese are still the biggest eaters of tuna in the world per head of population, if the metal levels are supposedly so high as they are a danger to human health, they wouldn't eat so much tuna. And for your intrest I lived in Japan for 12 years as part of my job, and know first hand how much tuna they eat. I didn't as I don't care for tuna as its to oily for my taste.

  • @Puzzoozoo

Ok so japanese are the epitomy of smart eating habits? please...

so feed your kids tuna then as soon as they are ready to chew meat since you think it's so safe....and if your wife is pregnant have her eat tuna as well...if you do you are crazier than i assumed from your previous posts...but it's actually believable.

i am hoping for the sake of the evolution of the human race you don't reproduce though.

  • @rightsideofhistory The entire Horizon spill wouldn't last even close to 10 days. A flow rate of 50,000 bbl/day equates to roughly 1 MBBL every three weeks. The United States uses that much oil in about an hour. So the entire horizon spill in total wouldn't even supply the US oil needs for a single day.

  • @rightsideofhistory we do, we pretty much have oil rights all over the world. The naughty thing is, is that we're blowing up people in the process.

  • @rightsideofhistory Oh no man... we do not use 21 million barrels a day, we use 55 billion barrels per day.

  • @rightsideofhistory So where's the collapse? first it was spring 09 right?. then summer 10. what is it this time fall '11. i'm sure next it will be winter '12 and we can all say the Mayans predicted peak oil. how many times do u let a guy blow smoke up ur ass before u say to urself " hey wait maybe he just trying to make some money off me".my beef with this guy is the fear mongering. the eminent collapse is always 3 months out. just enough time for u to spend ur life savings on survival gear.

  • @smkymcnugget420 the very fact that it was a rig in DEEP water...shows you Peak Oil is not bullshit. Deep Waters is incredibly tough and expensive to try and do. Why would oil companies venture in those expensive and high risk operations, if their normal oil fields would be sufficient?

  • @smkymcnugget420 They're drilling in the Gulf BECAUSE they're running out. And it's not quite like all that oil is lost, they're keeping that shit when they scoop it up.

  • Help out Mike. Buy a copy of the DVD and give it to friends, family and coworkers. If anyone deserves it, he does for making such a great, captivating documentary.

  • @ThirdFaceofShiva We are doing that already in order to spread the word to those who are not informed

  • just got through the last part of this

    its both interesting and disturbing

    thanks for sharing it
