Love the song, love the film. At the credits I hardly noticed the apple tree growing untill I looked away and looked back, and it was there! The whole idea of this anime is just inspirational.

And has anyone else watched untill the very end where a birds-eye view of the city some on screen with the text 'From here you can see everything.'? Didnt see that untill my 3rd viewing.

I just bought the DVD for this film, what an amazing film, really beautiful in so many ways. Very highly recommended. The soundtrack just adds so much to a wonderful story line and even better animation. There is also an interview with plaid on the dvd.
