@jazzlynemusic Gerbils usually only bite when they're nervous, maybe you just need to tame your gerbil a little bit :)

@jazzlynemusic aww fair enough, well then you just need to tame it, make sure it knows you're not gonna hurt it, and try to handle it alot and then it'll eventually stop biting..hopefully! :)

Mine rarely eat treats while being held or even out of their cage. One of them will take meal worms out of the cage sometimes, but that is about it. They usually are just excited to be out.

@orange1336 thanks, he's tame because i've had him since he was really small, he wasn't really meant to be away from his mother but for some reason he was. so he's been held from an early age and is really used to human contact :)
