lizzy douglas is an idiot. anyone who compares bette midler to eric clapton has clearly never touched a guitar and has no idea what they're talking about. to say that this performance is unemotional is ludicrous. blues guitar is some of the purest, most emotional music that exists, and no white guitarist has ever done it better than clapton, and very few come close. stop being stupid lizzy.

Pardon me ???? This song is composed by Tampa Red (Hudson Whitaker) who recorded this own composition already in 1940!!! Listen to the original, also on YOU TUBE.

Bette Midlers rendition of this song in the movie "The Rose" is much better than this flat and unemotional version of EC.
