i wish i had a video camera when i went. i love cambodia, i would live there for a few months if i could afford it.... great video it brought back so many memories.... thanks for sharing!
I took the bus from Saigon to Siem Reap 3 days there wnet to all the temple and Angor Wat loved all of it. After that we took the bus to Phnom Penh , the road were smooth. I loved Cambodia, after the visit to all the site and seen the poor people, I feel the love and the sadness for the Cambodian people. I'll be back there soon.
It is from The Gladiator Soundtrack. I know it has nothing to do with this part of the world, but I liked the song, so I thought I would use it. Very soothing. Thanks for watching.
im goin to cambodia this summer to show respect for my grandmother who passed away about 4 months ago i cant wait so see my grandmothers old home if it is still there
My parents and I were planning to go to Cambodia this year. I was really, really excited at the fact I am going to the place my parents came from and learning about my heritage. But after I got really sick in December '07, I can't do that anymore.
As I was watching this video, it made me sad to think I won't be going. =[
But, I want to thank you for giving me such a personal look into what it is like over there. =]
I visited Cambodia before christmas last year and I must say it's a fantastic country. The people are very friendly and the monuments are awesome and very unique (the temple in Angkor Whatt).
i've been there 10 years ago, because my mum had to go there for her work for 1 month. because of the danger we weren't aloud to leave Phnom Penh, so i'd love to go back to see Ankor Wat and the people we lived with 10 years ago
yea thats my country even though i wasnt born there i enjoy going to hang out...me and my whole family made a big plan and rented a whole plane just to go back in june 2008 to burry my great great grandfather that fough in the war
went to angkor wat just a week ago, was soo amazing! people are so friendly there, we just went around in our tuktuk waving to everyone and they smiled and were so happy :P
We found that it was very safe. We travelled independently around the country and never felt threatened only welcomed. The cambodian people are amazing and you should have a great experience.
Thanks for sharing this video. I just been to Cambodia in Feb'07, & this brings back lots of memories.. The depressing & sobering Teul Sleung in Phnom Penh is offset by the majestic of Angkor!
That is very beautiful - your adventure looks very breath-taking. Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience trip to Cambodia and thanks for sharing the vid. I'm sure you've brought many memories along with you. That is such a change to see of Cambodia. Have a great day.
hi, I went to cambodia last year. It was a though trip. Same buses, some dust, some horrors, same busy and worried faces. I didn't go to the south but to the north. I went there with my boyfriend who is now my husband. Cambodia is very dear to us. Love
Congrat's on the wedding! Yes, the travel in Cambodia was tough, it is easy to forget when I am sitting at home by the fire. But I agree, the country is very dear to us as well. Thanks for watching.
my boss is cambodian. i believe his family migrated to the US during the 80's. i haven't been to cambodia. but he tells me it's a very beautiful country. i'm guessing that's why he goes there every year.
thank you so much for sharing that wonderful video.
much love for those foreign pple who do care and those who arent' here. much love to cambodia, the land of ruins angkor wat, kings and gods. the lost city of angkor.
@jacobwhatever Yes, very dangerous (say anything to keep Americans from going there and ruining the place)

Interesting video - thanks for posting.
the song from the second minute onward might be a remix of the soundtrack from "Gladiator" - but it's only a guess.

Yes you are right 'it is like grand central station rather than a nice wat'.
Why do you look so disappointed.... ? You are a tourist aren't you?
