  • ahh as always, just stunning. You've been strong through so much, you'll be fine through this. :)

where ARE you off to, anyways? :) (asks the native coloradan.)

  • @myequineaddictionn Thank you SO much, that truely means the WORLD! And I think I'll drop you a PM (:

  • and don't worry about the COLD winters ;] I lived in cali and moved to the midwest and it's different, but bearable. The winters where I live now get to negative 50 lol. so anyway, what I am trying to get at in a round about way is that YOU will make it happen. Besides, who knows that you won't make it to that private school one day? But you just got to chip away at the hard stuff now. And then go blow everyone's socks off in the future, and you will DESERVE it, and you will be grateful. =]

  • @empy5 not less than that(although I haven't checked google weather or been there in the dead of winter to validate that statement but..)

    WHOA THATS CRAZY COLD! BURRRR!

Thank you SO much, your words give me SO much strength and courage, I can't thank you enough for that!

  • I hope things work out for you girl, you always have such an amazing work ethic and true determination. I know you will make it. And don't worry, because of your abilities, talent and perseverance you will find opportunities. I live out in the middle of nowhere where there are less shows than in the midwest (I lived in the midwest, california and the south) and I am actually at a riding college where I am getting an equine degree. And Empy's in a national young horse jumping program. . . cont.

  • @empy5 THANK YOU LAUREN! Gah, that means so much to me, you have no idea! You are TOO kind! I feel like I've asked this a million times, but I always forget, what state do you live in? AND YAY for going to a riding college! That was my origional plan (: But I mean.. I didn't stray SO far from that dream, I'm still going for riding, it's just.. not a riding college by any means haha. Oh BUURRRRR! GEEZ! How is that even possible?! I think where I'm going it snows and gets to like 15F but probably

  • I love this!!!! You are an outstanding editor!

  • @cmjequitation0 Aww, thank you SO much!

  • Aww, I'm sorry you have to sacrifice private school! But trust me, after a while the east gets extremely tiring!! You'll have a blast at college no matter what :)

I'm glad you can accept it, that really shows your strength.

BTW, I loveeeee this video as usual :P Great quote, gorgeous clips and editing!

  • @MakeEquitate Oh, that's okay, no big deal. haha

Does it? I'd love to see it though (: The east has all the great shows! (I mean.. we have some awesome ones too, like HITS Thermal, but when you compare, the east has 2387497x more awesome ones!) Aww thank you SOOO much, that means SO much to me! You are too sweet!!

  • I'm only in 8th grade, but my life is planned out. I'm going to VA to go to a riding college, but when i told my parents this they said "only if you pay for it yourself because I'm not paying for a riding college." they don't ever believe in my riding ability. They don't believe that you can make it in the world with an equestrian related job. They are the opposite of what parents should be. They don't believe in me one bit, and thats just another thing you and I have in common.

  • @xXxWorthTheWaitxXx ahah, I thought my life was planned out too (: Unfortunately.. plans change. You can plan ALL you want. I sure did. I had it all set. Everything in my life has been set in stone since I first sat on a horse 8 years ago. But it doesn't always work out that way. And it sucks. But that's okay, because there's other ways to make your life what you want it to be. There's always a way to be who you want to be. (: My parents don't believe in a riding career for me either, but that

  • @horsefreak129 *cont won't stop me from doing everything in my power to make it happen for myself. And I truely hope you will do everything you possibly can to make it happen for yourself too, you deserve that. Thank you SO much for your comment, we're so alike! (:

  • Oh no! :( sorry to hear that! :( Everything will work out just fine! Good luck with everything! :D <3

  • @simyroks Oh, thank you so much!! I can't thank you enough!

  • im sorry/: everything DOES happen for a reason and everything ment to be WILL happen. I'm positive riding and horses will stay in your life in ways your least expecting. Just keep pushing forward and everything really works out in the end, i promise. Your way too amazing for this to happen to you. I'm so sorry but i'm positive that everything will fall into place for you, just stick with it.

  • @Callistico Ah, thank you SO much, I really appreciate this comment! And don't be sorry for me, I'll be fine (; thank you SO much, this comment just made my day. THANK YOU. You are TOO kind, I don't deserve your support!

  • the description really touched me, not only cause i'm in a similiar situation but because you're so strong and open for what's coming up to you... i wish you the best, even though it's not exactly what you've dreamed of, there are still many worse situations i could think of.

and may i ask what state in the midwest is and what is wrong with it cause i don't know much about the US ;)

  • @Mausiiiable Oh there's nothing wrong with it! Not at all! The midwest.. it's uhh.. rougher I guess. BITTER cold winters and hot humid summers. I'm used to 70F winters and 90F summers here in CA (;

But thank you SO much, I really appreciate it! And yes, there are worse situations to be in(like the one that I might experience if I can't find the money... I won't be going to college in that case.) so I hope this just works out, I'll be so grateful!

  • Took, joke

Haha sorry :-P forelock with whatever you plan on doing as well. My dream was also to move back to the east coast (VA) but I can say goodbye to that. Maybe someday I still can tho.

  • I am in the same place, but my parents have been dropping Pennies into my college fund since I was born. Altho that's only enough to cover books, when I tools my parents about my dream school they took me as a home and explained to me that if I didn't go to a college to be a researcher or some sort of high payed surgeon, then they will not support me at all. So I too am going to some bullshit college to be miserable the rest of my life

  • @Cheesekake343 My mom has too, but SAME deal here, it's not going to cover anything more than books. Which sucks. Because it'd be nice if it'd cover tuition. Ah, it sounds alot like my parents too! Except even if I go try to be a doctor or something they still won't pay for me because we just don't have the money. But my best suggestion is to make your OWN future. Don't let them decide. It's YOUR life and YOUR choice. (: Make the best of your life!

  • @horsefreak129 **cont. If you want to move to VA(I want to move to the east too! :D) then by all means, DO IT. No matter how long it takes you, what it takes to get there, if that's your goal, you ACHIEVE it. Make it happen for yourself. You deserve it!

  • And I feel you on wanting to get out haha. The worlds a big place, we gotta enjoy it!

  • Ahhhh abrie -33 god I can't even imagine. You attitude once again amazes me. You are going to achieve great things, I know it!! keep your head up like you do & things do happen for a reason!

  • @TheRiptideRider Aww, thank you sooo much, you are TOO kind! (: Thank you. Seriously. That means the world to me and I don't deserve all this support!

  • Well I might have to go to community college for 2 years because my family can't even afford a state college...and I'm in the top 10% of my class....so consider yourself lucky.

  • @Razzle1203 Oh I'm not very lucky either.. I.. just didn't mention this because it hurts too much to even think about.. I might not even be GOING to college. Period. Anywhere. Community or State. NOWHERE. I have no money. I can't find a job and I've been killing myself trying. If I can't get scholarships and a job.. There is a 100% chance I will not be attending ANY college whatsoever. I just don't mention that because I won't let myself look at that option. I feel you, I'm not

  • @horsefreak129 *cont going to complain about being able to GO to college, I'd consider myself extremely fortunate and lucky to even attend for a YEAR. I have no right to complain and I'm NOT. I just didn't mention the fact that I might not be going because I'm too scared to even think of that in my future.

  • ..choose the same sort of route. The cheaper, widely-attended, not-my-cup-of-tea school. Even with such a great college for the route I wanted to take, it was more-so the actual GETTINGTHEFARKAWAYFROMHERE part that I had wanted so badly.

With that in mind, just know that as a fellow soon to be college-bound equestrian, I'm here if you ever want to vent or talk. :)

You know what's best for yourself. All you have to do is trust yourself and kick the obstacle in the ass and show them what's what!

  • I'm so proud that you have been able to make a decision for yourself regarding such a large aspect of life. It's a big thing, and you've handled it much better than you may think.

Not to be narcissistic, but I've recently been faced with the same situation. I was accepted to a college I was all against going to, and wanted to go somewhere up north where I was before and live in that world I missed. However, my parents also slapped me in the face and shut that financial door on me. So I had to..

  • @SplatteredPainttt Ah, I really appreciate your comment, you have NO idea. To know someone else went through the exact same situation.. it gives me more hope than you can even imagine. And me too. I guess if I WANTED, I could go to a CA school near my house and continue riding at my current barn, and trust me when I say I have thoroughly looked at this option. But I have to get out of here. I don't CARE where I go or where I end up. It can be the midwest, or the east.. I just

  • @horsefreak129 *cont HAVE to get out of here. But I think I've come to accept and look forward to my decision.. I went from "sigh.. I guess it's okay.." to "EEEK, they're great in Football, have 23,500 students, a NCAA equestrian team.. I LOVE this place!" so it all works out in the end (;

Thanks so much again, I really appreciate it!

  • oh my gosh I cant imagine what you have gone through but everything happens for a reason right? dont ever give up!!!

  • @BreatheFearlessly I believe so! Thank you SO much, that means the world to me!

  • cant*** sorry i meant cant >.<

  • Gosh I can imagine. I took a year off from college cause I had no idea what to do but I'm going to college this fall (yay exams!). I know the midwest wasn't your first choice and I know that's disappointing but I live in the midwest so yeah, Welcome to the Midwest!! :D I hope you have fun even if its not your first choice! O.O if you went to minnesota I would freak out lol

  • @DefyingxXxGravity Really? Oh I don't mean to bag on the midwest, I hope you didn't get that impression! I'm really excited to be going to the midwest! I believe the people there are worth more and so much more.. human. They're more down to earth than anyone I know here. And I'm excited to be a part of the midwest! I just get laughed at because everyone down here is convinced they'll stay here(CA) forever. They think I'm funny for going to a place so much more.. empty. There's

  • @horsefreak129 *cont just not as many people in the midwest x) haha. Awww, so sad! ): No, I won't be going to Minnesota! And I hope I will too! I think I will! I'm going to be riding alot(hopefully!! Fingers crossed!) and maybe even trying eventing? So I don't think it will be disappointing in the least!

  • @horsefreak129 oh no i know you werent! just not the ideal place when you already have your mind set on the perfect place, totally understand that. :) I dont blame you. its slightly boring here haha. Yes yes try eventing!! Its a blast thats what I am doing right now!! :D oh and also have a nice warm jacket, gloves and hat! Winters can be brutal. Excluding this one. >.> this winter is just sad.

  • @DefyingxXxGravity Yes, so true! But I've come around, now I think it's pretty awesome and can't wait! (: I think it will only be boring if I take things slow.. I'm kind of a fast-paced person and I nearly run myself into the ground all the time.. and if I continue that busy schedule in college, I'll never have time to be bored (: Ah, I'm so excited to try eventing, I've always wanted to! Oh yes, of course! Here(today) it was like 80 so it's going to be a HUGE shock at 10! ha

  • These are the moments in life that make us who we are going to be. These moments where the world crashes down around us, the moments where we are forced to dry our OWN eyes, and pick ourselves up off the ground without the hands of another to help, are the moments that make us human, and make us who we are. This is just the beginning, there is so much life left to live. And who knows, everything happens for a reason. Stay strong, keep smiling...:*

  • @TheBayRoan You are SO right. Wow. Thank you for the encouragement, it means so much to me! I definitely am that person, everytime I get crushed I pick myself up with no one at my side giving me a hand. I pull myself up out of the dirt, wipe myself off and try again. I try a different way. I try over and over again. Nothing can get me down, and though I may have lost my first choice, I will make the best out of what I DID get. I'm incredibly lucky, I think, for the chances I DO have.

  • i'm sorry to hear about your parents not helping, but just remember what ever you do, if you believe in something it'll work! If you can't go to your private school it might be for a reason! An oppitunity might come up that you would never have got somewhere else.x

  • @erinxsjxriderx So true!! And I know you're right (: Because what that private school DIDN'T offer is a NCAA equestrian team. And by going to this midwest state school, I have the possibility of becoming a NCAA rider. So I may have lost riding every day at a private school, but I will(if I get on the team!) gain recognition at a high level of competition and hopefully do well! (: Not that I'll make it, but I will work myself to death trying!

  • I feel your pain. Honestly I do. The school I would love to go to...I will NEVER be able to afford, and my mother can't afford to help me much. So I will have to find my own ways of achieving my goals. Even if it means changing the road to those goals.

I am sure even with the change in the road to your dreams you will get there. You just have to be persistent and never lose focus on the endgame. Best of luck to you! <3

  • @SmallvilleFanatic600 Ah, we're twins (: haha. Seriously, that's the SAME story! But I believe in you and know you can do it! You can achieve your goals, I know that (; As for me.. I just have to do everything I possibly can and hope for the best. I'll take the long road but I will get there somehow. (:

Ah, thank you, I appreciate that SO much! THANK YOU SO SO SO SO much!

  • @horsefreak129

    Aww well thank you :'D

Here's to chasing dreams and our future goals! <3

  • Love this <3

  • @krazyhorsebackrider Thank you SO much! (:

  • I'm so sorry that your parents are nazi freaks. I can't believe that they didn't tell you all this before.... is there anyway you could talk to them and tell them that what you really want? I'm sure, however, that either way you'll be the same old you. Hardworking, humble, deep, and one of the best people I've ever known. If you need to talk, please message me <3

  • @horsecrazy27 HAHA oh, it's not like that x) I mean.. yeah, they're.. hard on me. But it's for the best. They truely believe if I want sucess I'll go make it for myself independently. Which is why I am the way I am. They've made me this way. I mean.. I guess I could. But what would it do? It's not a matter of "Will we pay for you?" because we don't have the money. It's not a "oh we want you to do it yourself" it's a "sorry kiddo, if you go off to college you find a way to make it

  • @horsefreak129 *cont happen because we can't make it happen for you as much as we'd like to." If my family COULD, my education would be paid for, but because that's not an option I'll have to work around that. I'm just going to figure out a way to make college happen(even if it's the one I didn't origionally want) and do the best I possibly can (: WHOA. I think that's the nicest thing ANYONE has ever said to me. THANK YOU. I appreciate that more than I can express in words (:

  • @horsefreak129 oooh ok I see it makes more sense now at least there is a reason behind what they are doing and, more importantly, you both understand what it is :) you are very welcome, I meant every word of it :)

  • @horsecrazy27 yeah haha (: I don't blame them for not being able to pay for it and they hope I'll find a way to do it myself(otherwise.. eeek, I'm scared to even think of the things that would happen if I can't go to college.. see reply to razzle1023's comment maybe? I guess I just wouldn't go to college..) Thank you again!

  • I WOULD HATE MY PARENTS JUST A TINY BIT. but i really hope you are happy where ever you end up to be. things are supposed to happen for a reason, i suppose. The other options may not be the best, but anyone that works hard enough can end up at the same destination.

  • @gianaitaliano69 AHAHA, I definitely did at that moment (x I can't tell you how much I wanted to scream "WAIT WAIT, this isn't what I want, I want to go back east! I want the other option!" I think my mom was expecting me to..

Thank you SO much Giana, that just makes my day (: I believe that too, THANK YOU! I just hope one day if I do make it I'll look back and say, "Wow. Not only did I come incredibly far, I took the longest road to get here." And I'll appreciate every thing.

  • I am so sorry, keep your chin up! This video was beautiful.

  • @mupp3tbab3h Oh, don't be sorry, it's not your fault! Thank you SO much though, it really means alot to me!

  • life leads us on some seriously meandering roads, but you'll get where you want to get if you believe you can. this is probably just a stepping stone to something bigger! best of luck and have fun!!

  • @likinthelimelight Ah, so well written! (: That comment you just wrote means the WORLD to me, you have no idea. It just made my life (: It fits so well to what I've been feeling/experiencing! Thank you SO much!

And haha so I've heard (; They do. I lost 3 horses this season and I finally realize NOW what lessons they taught me by leaving. They left for a reason and I know now why it had to happen that way L=

  • you are going to shine like a star no matter where the world puts you .

  • @SH00TfromtheSTARTBOX Aw, THANK YOU! Aww, this comment made me smile SO big! (: THANK YOU!

  • this is STUNNING!
