it would be fun to see how bach imagined this should be played, and I guess he would have a much more stricter tempo and dynamic. still, I like her interpretation much more
Para mi humilde parecer, ME HA ENCANTADO TU INTERPRETACIÓN . Creo que en los comentarios hay mucho critico que ya me gustaria a mi escucharles tocar, antes de opinar negativamente sobre esta interpretación.
Pedal or not pedal in Bach ? is the same as playing Bach - PIANO. Pedal or not pedal in Bach.?
I really think you should study more carefully because what you are playing is really musical but it is NOT written on Bach's sheet... she is playing Bach and you have to understand why he has written every single note and why he has written it like that. You must never touch the clavier before you analyze the piece morphologically. Because you are being dragged by the emotion and the emotion doesn't fit IN THE SAME way everywhere, we are not playing Bach the same way we are playing Chopin... :)
I have been playing the piano for 13 years and for some reason I have never really liked bach's music. Until I saw this! This inspires me to go and try to learn this piece! Thank you so much for sharing :)
why are you putting an accent on the 2nd time instead if on the 1st time on the prelude? And why did you accent the syncopes? was this chosen? nice tempo.
I like your "sound" on the fugue, but I also don't understand why the accent on the 2nd eighth of that group of 3 instead of the first.
Jill, great job! I was actually searching for the Prelude In C maj and found a few good attempts but your playing on this piece held my attention for the duration. The feel, technique and continuity was compelling. Thank you for the pleasant ride as I now return to what I was originally looking for but came away with more than I bargained for! :)
Not quite. Jem used a sample of the Swingle Singers' 1963 adaptation. Samples are common. Did the Swingle Singers rip him off? I would say that full credit on samples in all music would help a lot though.

Hi,i am looking for a fugue speciallist to tell me what is that chromatic fugue:

I found it as notes and then i made it with a music notation program

@rachelgpryor123
yes, that is totally right, but Bach has been 'ripped off' loads of times and if that helps create good new pieces of music, that's OK!

I really enyoyed your playing especially the fugue it travels along in an energetic manner and is great to listen to!
In the prelude you prefer to have the left hand under as in bars 6,7,8.
Look forward to hearing more.
