She sounds fine to me. Remember we're not hearing the best quality. It's a funeral which is about a persons showing of respect or love to the passed not about who's singing the best. This was a long funeral program so Aretha's 7 mins wasn't that long when compared to the time fo the speakers.

I hear your heart but that'snot accurate you need to read the epistles of Paul because taking Rom 6 in to account it is possible for one to sin after be jusified by Christ. I'm not sure what your message is hear but it sounds like you are trying to jusify sin. Its worse when the saints sin than it is for those who have not come into the knowledge. Yes we do fall and God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us but we have to understand that all unrighteousness is sin.

God is not looking at the sin. He is looking at the person who committed it. The sin is not a separate entity apart from the sinner. The Bible show throughout that God does not separate the sinful person apart for the sin. Now you must ask yourself what is a sinner? One who deliberately, porously, without conviction, without guilt, premeditates there sin.

We so foolishly say that god dont hate he loves every body and this is true in a since but you most understand what hate is its a emotion just like love it means to strongly dislike, to become harsh toward, to render un to a person grate valances. Aretha has a great anointed gift. I know because I was a pretty good singer in my day and now I can't hit a note anywhere near my heyday. Aretha will die with those great vocals and styling. There is only one and she is the Queen and one who has paid dues. Beyonce, Mary J and all others take a back seat to this vocal genius. She is an original, not a fake or not making it off covering someone else's material.

Hadn't been to a lot of black funerals. African American ones, YES, but not black ones where voice aint right, weather aint right, and it just aint right.
