waiting...waiting for the people to open there eyes...for the knights to gather there arms...for the king to take his place...for the heros to rise out of the darkness...for evil to fade away from the world...here we wait...waiting for the world to change...for the good
People say there trying to do everything they can to make this world seem better... but there not. They care about themselves they have no clue what to fight for or how... so this is my question
@WhiteLightning008 I'm sure many would fight for a better world if they knew how. Most are just fighting to keep themselves and their families aloft right now.
This is what all of humanity should be struggling for. The Promised Land. I will fight for this paradise. I may not see it in my life time. Maybe no one in our lifetime will. But we should all be trying to make a better world. Even if we can only help in the smallest matters. We cannot let the suffering of our ancestors be in vain. Every generation struggled to make a better world for the next. So should we. For The Promised Land.
@Everyone : and , keep listing to your favorite Uematsu and other epic VGM when you are down; most of these stand out pieces have an unheard of thunbs up to thumbs down ration on you tube, powerful stuff we have here :)
@Everyone who wants to change the world but is a bit intimidated by it all : Start by overcoming the misery that is involved with observing how lame the human population as a whole may be becoming and focus on issues at hand: excel in something that you enjoy that can be used/taught to others to invoke a positive change on a local level, start small and then rise above, you will slowly start to feel good about things when you see the positive results on a scale that is constant to yourself!
Our daily lives serve as a shield against such ideological ideas and questions. Otherwise, progress would have been made a long time ago. Before we start changing the world, we should ask ourselves why do we get 'pulled' by our daily lives?

@omegasoldier382 There's no need to hate this day and age. If humanity is getting dumber but you're getting smarter this is what is important right? @NaarghultheShadow Some professors are very socialist. But I think you will find that a far greater proportion of them are liberal... And if you go to any of the top class universities many are very very conservative. You are generalizing making yourself look like a fool. Our capitalist system exploits those at the bottom, the workers in india, china and other developing countries. And you are from the USA no? I think you will find that your country is already drilling Marcellus Shale.
Side effects include depression, realization of real life, hating of life, deep thinking, happiness, hate towards people who kill the planet, love towards Nobuo Uematsu, and other effects that cannot be described. Please, contact Nobuo if you are feeling these symptoms.
There was one soldier named Sephiroth who's better than the rest. But when he found out about the terrible experiments that made him he began to hate Shinra and then, over time, he began to hate everything.
Ask yourself this, why do we have to pay to live on the planet we were born on?
And why are people starving every second when we have enough resources.
Why do we use oil when we have free energy?
They don't want you to think critically so they put stupid things on the television so that you can buy and then get bored with it and keep buying useless shit like a mindless drone.
You don't care? Okay go back to sleep then..shhhhh.
Sorry for flooding the page if this is annoying you.
@NaarghultheShadow Beg to differ. Corrupt governments? Yes to an extend, but what about the exploitation that our capitalist system forces upon them in order to survive. The universities promote critical thinking. I can see you are a no nonsense traditionalist... But please do not spout your pointless bigotry here! Just appreciate this fantastic music.
@hatstalker The universities don't promote critical thinking. The universities browbeat the socialist/communist line into students and tell them to tow the line because the professors are "experts" and therefore know better than everyone else. That isn't critical thinking, it's propaganda on a Soviet scale.
Our capitalist system exploits what, exactly? Oil? I blame environmentalists who won't let us drill our own or use our own shale, which we have in spectacular abundance.
@NaarghultheShadow OH and if critical thinking is brow beaten as you say, what the hell is a PHD? Why would they encourage you to do some new research into your chosen field.... Unless that is, because you have no idea what you are talking about.
@hatstalker Yes, do research in your chosen field - but if you don't agree with their theories on climate change and social issues, you are an object for bullying and ridicule. I've been singled out before by a socialist History professor simply for quoting original sources.
Lemme ask you a question: Is our system exploiting these workers? or is business so difficult in this country that to even stay afloat some businesses export work?
@hatstalker If you want to talk about exploiting people, then let's take a look at the labor unions, specifically Teamsters, AFL-CIO, and SEIU. They are exploiting their own workers to the benefit of the union bosses who wield inordinate power with the current Administration. They are using these people in an attempt to bring down the entire U.S. financial system so that they have power and ordinary citizens do not. George Soros has brought low entire countries with his currency manipulation.
@hatstalker The real manipulators, the real Machiavellian thinkers, are on the Left, who think that they are superior and know better than the masses, like Trumka, like Soros.
And last, Marcellus Shale is a drop in the bucket compared to the shale deposits in Colorado. And second, they are not drawing on it in large enough scale. Not only that, but we have huge deposits of crude in Alaska, in the Gulf of Mexico, in Texas, and off the coasts that environmentalists fight drilling of ferociously.
@NaarghultheShadow Generalization again. I admit that there are those who manipulate on the left... But there are those on the right who do so too. You ignore facts and say only half of something..... human nature is to exploit and manipulate it is nothing to do with your political bias....
@NaarghultheShadow And also even if they could drill it all and quickly... Do you really think the big companies would do that? That would drive the price of oil down... Not what the big firms want. (It's a simple rule of economics (A subject that I am studying along with American politics in great detail at the moment)
Also only certain types of shale can be drilled. It would be pointless drilling shale with a low oil content (LIKE MOST SHALE)
This song makes me cry whenever I listen to it! It brings the scene when Kadaj died and dissolved into the Lifestream to my mind again and again. You may think him crazy for thinking a box being his Mother. But isn’t that touching if a person who was too innocent to think a “box-thing” might be his Mother and cries for it? Not to mention since the early moment of his life, he lives only to find his Mother!
Why would I mourn for him? He is just innocent, he even doesn’t know the reason why he has to find Jenova. He just follows to the allure of Sephiroth, and the ending shows Sephiroth being defeated by Cloud, and Sephiroth even left Kadaj behind until he died. That’s not fair for him to die at all! Square Enix should have remake AC and shows another ending for him, and his brothers Yazoo and Loz ,too.
Lyrics. Why do we cling together Why do we give punishment to lesser hearts The stars did not forgive us Did not forgive us The stars did not forgive us Did not forgive us The throbbing pulse flows through the earth A tiny pulse A heart drawn to death A gentle life returns to the stars Must souls be sacrificed Why do we cling together Why do we beg for forgiveness In the Promised Land
We (me and my choir) are gonna sing this song in two weeks at our consert in a small village in north sweden, it sounds amazing! It's a awsome song and really powerfull.
whenever I hear this I get a sad feeling and I think of wars and how violent and how much animosity we put at each other because of some little dispute or lack of resources, I weep for humanity.
@omegasoldier382 I can understand the need to disconnect from this world that can only get worse, the need to escape into a world that is broken in a way we can fix, but remember that if we just stare at our tv screens, nothing will change. The system will win. Video games should inspire us, not suppress us. Instead of "Fuck the system" we should Fix the system. But only we can fix it. America, the world even, is slowly becoming Shinra. Who will have the courage to become Cloud?
@LoneStarImmortal The world will never be perfect the human race will never leave behind war and violence because even though not many people know it but it keeps the balance, some people just need to die.
While listening to this song I imagined the scene in FF7 where Cloud places the body of Aerith in the water before she slowly fades away and joins the Lifestream. It made me tear up.
I don't care that much about Advent Children to be honest, mainly because the story is ridiculous and I can't stand the throw-away villains they added. But the beginning, when Marlene "recaps" the game with this song in the background, made me tear up the first time I saw it. Seeing all those scenes I knew from my childhood remastered was really something. And the music still manages to give me goosebumps...
@RosettaLuv Why do we cling together? Why the punishment to our weak hearts? Our star would not allow, would not allow (x2) The pulse of veins flows through the earth, into the land flowing Faint pulse Of the heart drawn to death in the gentle life returns to the planet it is necessary to sacrifice the soul? Why in her lap, do we cling together? Why do we beg for forgiveness In the the promised land?
Cur in gremio haeremus? Cur poenam cordi parvo damus? Stella nobis non concessit, non concessit (x2) Venarum pulsus in terram fluens, in terram fluens Parvus pulsus Cor mortem ducens Vita mollis in stellam redeunt Animam sacrificare necesse est? Cur in gremio, in gremio haeremus? Cur veniam petimus In terra fatali?
@Morgengrauenengel I don't think the whole sad song with these particular lyrics would suit to such happy event XD just saying :3 [If you didn't know, that choir sings in latin.]
This particular song speaks to me more than any other song in the AC soundtrack. Like, how powerfully it builds from 1:20 - 1:40. Honestly, this the greatest opening monologue to any movie, and I ain't saying that because I am a FF7 fanboy, but this song has so much power, so much emotion, that I can close my eyes and damn-near see all the scenes they show while this song begins the movie. I can even hear Marlene kind of, the song doesn't sound right without her speaking. >.>
Cur in gremio haeremus? Cur poenam cordi parvo damus? Stella nobis non concessit, non concessit Stella nobis non concessit, non concessit Venarum pulsus in terram fluens Parvus, parvus pulsus Cor mortem ducens Vita mollis in stellam redeunt Animam sacrificare necesse est? Cur in gremio haeremus? Cur veniam petimus? In terram fatali? Oh, I like it so much :)
People wonder why I enjoy fantasy over real life interests, well, it's because I'm beginning to hate this day and age. Humanity is growing dumber, music is getting more talentless, technology is all about cell phones, and the world is falling apart. I know I'm here for a purpose, but sometimes I just hate being here. Sometimes I wish to be somewhere where we progress instead of fall. Throughout history, we've done great things, and now....look where we are now. I want to change this fallen world
ik :))) the dude has some nice images, but it seems like there isnt much to get people of there asses and do something other than freaking text message and eat pizza.....i mean look at celebrities, 9/10 times they are ass holes in real life and are in it for the money, money is shit, and its making people shit, enough said
@omegasoldier382 Deal with it its the world we live in. dont wish for another world but make the change in your own. spread what other people cant like valuse honor and dedication. Givin i do agree with you about whats going on now but nobodys going to make the change talking about it or hating but wrther embracing the story line in life and making a change in there world cause in the end thats all you have.....
@songokuss4gt well there is persons that spare me from writing too much for nothing ....i mean if u didn't write that i would do it..totally agree with u ...

Did you know that every human has something called the pineal gland in the middle of our brain that can literally turn thoughts in reality?
Fluoride eradicates the pineal gland, it's been proven, and fluoride had been found in our water system.
From the very beginning we've been oppressed by our masters, let's take it back.
Remember...the ones in power feed on fear, love and fear are just energy that manifests reality.

LoneStarImmortal 11 months ago 26
@LoneStarImmortal The world will never be perfect the human race will never leave behind war and violence because even though not many people know it but it keeps the balance, some people just need to die.
jackofblades1515 10 months ago
@LoneStarImmortal
I don't wanna be a cloud, i wanna be Cicil. XD
Or better yet, Red Mage. XD
but yeah, i agree with what you're saying, and sadly, i don't think it'll ever get any better until it all ends.
everyone around us will just degrade, unstoppable, spiraling into complete idiocy and thoughtlessness....at least, that's what i'm expecting. ;n;

While listening to this song I imagined the scene in FF7 where Cloud places the body of Aerith in the water before she slowly fades away and joins the Lifestream. It made me tear up.

Damn, it's almost worth dying just so I can have this played at my funeral. o.o

@remcokiddy Well that would still be 8 inches lol woot

@shybassboy The fact you think you have a huge d*ck means your ego is even bigger, and your d*ck even smaller...
Also, with a penis that size, you wouldn't be able to walk without stepping on it, what are you? A masochist?
Is it just me, or are you getting dumber by the comment?

This particular song speaks to me more than any other song in the AC soundtrack. Like, how powerfully it builds from 1:20 - 1:40. Honestly, this the greatest opening monologue to any movie, and I ain't saying that because I am a FF7 fanboy, but this song has so much power, so much emotion, that I can close my eyes and damn-near see all the scenes they show while this song begins the movie. I can even hear Marlene kind of, the song doesn't sound right without her speaking. >.>
