SHIT! I keep trying, and i get more than 160, but I don't get the achievement. I have the Steam version, and this shit happens a lot.

this achievement is too exagerated. Most of people can't get it and the ones who do, make it very closely to the end. It should be 140 or 120 kills.

im on normal well started on normal after i got all the easy trophies on easy mode but i couldnt get this one yet but sense iv sense iv look at this video it might help i know the video on how too lvl up my weapon easy help big time i got devastator and battle hardened at the iron canopy so all i need is (aerial predator,balance resorted ,the true horseman) before i get my platinum i cant want until the 2nd darksiders come out i hear death will be the main character in it

my only problem with this game is how "racist" (for lack of better word) it is against people with poor motor skills. usually a game with action commands you can get with a few simple taps but this game is literally you have to press it 50 times in a second. i had to have my friend beat the final boss for me because i couldn't press circle fast enough. and now i can't get this cause i can't shoot the big angles fast enough it's driving me nuts.

@har482000 Now, I don't like to recommend it , but if you are having trouble with pushing a button very quickly, you could by a modded controller. With a modded controller, you just need to push one button, and it can repeat a button press for you. Hope that helps!

@Nigtmaredemon It's at the end of Broken Stairs, and no you can not replay this once you go past this area. To replay this, you have to start a new game or reload the save before the end of this sequence.

@supertrevor10 One is the Dark Rider, which to unlock is to ride 100 miles on Ruin, your horse. The other is Horserider, whitch to unlock you have to kill 150 eniemes on Ruin. Hope I helped.

Finally did it after .... 6 or 7 tries ... damn this one is a B****, barely got it the last time 162 kills on Apocolyptic.

Maybe it's easier on easy or normal, i dunno, at least ye don't get as much damage from the enemies i guess.

This is also the last achievement I need for the game. It has certainly been the most difficult achievement of the game, but the Abyssal armor certainly helps take some of the fire power against you.

Going to just take a few attempts each day at this, as I really enjoyed this game and would hate for this one achievement to ruin any groovy gaming memories.

@Ruizinho7777 Haha, no problem. Well, the reason I have the Abyss armour is that I collected all the pieces, beat the game, started a new game with the armour and got this achievement. Plus, it makes me look awesome!

@jedi87t Just watch this video for Aerial Predator help. With a bit of luck and practice you'll get it. For Dark Rider, I sped around my horse in that desert level gaining exp at the same time. I've also heard people using rubber bands on the controller to keep the horse moving without needing to be there. Hope that helped.

That's what I did.

I first finished the game on Apocalyptic. Started a new game on Easy, to make it easier to run back to this area quickly.

Make sure to save before this sequence, or you'll have to start a new game again.

The way I got it; play on the easiest difficulty and just start from the beginning. There are plenty of cars, poles, and such at the beginning to give you a great start. Only try killing enemies this way (if possible). Sooner or later, that sweet sweet achievement will be yours!

FINALLY got this one, after about 20 tries (ended up giving up for the night and tried again next morning). Here is a little tip, create more saves! When you go along monitor your progress and see how you are doing, and if its a decent amount so far, save it! For example when I went and first saw the big bat thing entiring the big cavern of lava, I got up to about 65 right there, (where I was getting around 45-50) and I saved it right there to start off like that everytime.

The only hard part is the wraiths when they destroy your health with one combo! (I did my first run through on Apocalyptic because my friend said it was relatively easy, just like you just stated.) XD

after the game has ended you cannot continue play, therefore it reverts you back to your last save point. So save right before the final boss so you can go back for trophy/achievement hunting

Just a tip on the original save. If you wait until the run starts (ie. you're on the beast) to save when you load you go straight to the cutscene.

When you collect the armour and beat the game, it'll 'save'. When you go start a new game, it'll ask you if you want to use the armour in this playthrough. This is not the case with the sword or other weapons, since they are a part of the story where they start at level zero.
