  • GREAT SCULPTURE! amazing detail, i love dragons and so do my grandchildren.

    keep up the good work.

  • What is it you do to harden and/or set the sculpey so the sculpture doesn't lose shape?

  • Asolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and this sculpt. I very much would like to see a price tag on dragon man! No I couldnt afford him, tho I do have a wild crush on him! Just fantastic, I was captivated by this series, I could not take my eyes away. Ive just started sculpting the past year, tho Ive been an artist all my life. You have knocked my socks off, and motivated me greatly! THANK YOU!

  • Wow, your art is beautiful! You must have such patience to be able to do this.

  • You made this as a one off?

I work in FX, and I can honestly say you have real tallent to pay the bills man. Ever mold any of your work? Someone like you could make a great living in the toy/model/entertainment field.

Personally I'm working on my illustration. I'm a sculpter, ut I need to get better at drawing my designs as well.

  • @killerwolf02 Haha, just read your bio on your site. You've got alot of skill and looks like you've achieved alot. you desserve it man great stuff.

  • Truly amazing!!!... I like your vids a lot dude. I would buy one of those sculptures: for me this one is AWESOME.

  • arcilla?

  • DRAGON MAN! yep it sure is! i love this my fave on youtbe thus far ! , i would be extremely grateful if you could anser my question kenshihiro, - i noticed you baked the wings then added the details, after putting the wings in place and smoothing out the joins how did you then bake the final details?, its just that with the wings now in place it seems too big of a sculpture to place in an oven, please let us know! :) thank you kindly

  • dude, if i could buy your sculptures i would, like no doubt..............8-l

  • @Dr8co1 Haha Thank you :-D

  • @kenshirosuzuki no problem ;D how long have you been doin this???

  • @Dr8co1 Ah thank you! Oh and most of my life really.. but I always concentrated on my illustration mostly. But now it's a bit of art and sculpture!

  • @kenshirosuzuki WOOOW lol, i admire your dedication, PLZ keep posting vids i'd love to see more of your work :) i visited your site and it truely amazing

  • Simply Amazing... No word's can describe this. This was simply amazing how you designed this piece and sculpt it. How long did it take you exactly? I'm beginning to get into sculpting but this look's like you had year's of practice cause this is just perfect.

  • @itachiLOVER4lifeX Wow your words are very great my friend.. thank you!! Ah I wouldn't say that they're perfect though haha, I wish they were! I'm very critical of my own works. There's still so much room for improvment! I would love to see your sculptures sometimes.. please do let me know when you start any!

  • @kenshirosuzuki Will do :) though your pieces still look pretty perfect to me!

  • great stuff

  • @Dach101 Thank you thank you!! So do you do sculpting as well?

  • i really like this dragon, very asian, and almost a balrog, rather than a dragon. Your style is very nice, with good stong features and understanding of form. I wouldn't be able to sculpt with a TV on though :) I can't understand how you can concentrate :)

Great work , look forward to seeing more. Find the beauty within

  • @Dach101 Hey Dach! Haha yes I dunno how concentrate either.. If you notice in my other videos there's no tv. I thought it looked silly in the background didn't it? Thank you for your lovely comments.. means so much to me!

  • Amazing work, Just curious on the materials you used and how you worked on its belly without ruining the top! Also are the eyes inserted? they look great!

  • Wow very impressive Kenshiro!!

  • Wow... O.O That is amazing. I wish I could do that. I have so many creature ideas in my head, but I can't even draw them properly. *oops* Keep up the great work. :)

  • Hey Elya!

Your words are too kind my friend thank you so much!

If I were you I'd keep playing with some clay until you get somewhere you're happy with. Don't worry too much about getting it right, just enjoy youself!

  • @kenshirosuzuki Thanks for the words of encouragement, Kenshiro. :) I think I shall try to get more into clay-work during the summer.

  • This is the best dragon sculpture I've ever seen...

  • @NetworkVampire Wow my friend.. that is awesome.. you're too kind! Thank you! :-)

  • awesome work, ill try to so it some day...

just 1 critic: upgrade ur wings, they are not anatomicaly correct.

try to see some bat wings, they are basically hands with long fingers with a membrane in between. also lord of the rings dragon's are such a good example

    sorry about that.

i cant imagine how long it take... impresive patience and dedication...

    congratulations, no words :P

    sorry for my english XD.

  • sorry! i alredy see your other dragon (aikon) and it got his wings cool... sorry for trying to teach you XD, u obviusly know how to do rigth wings. i just dont know why i dont like 100% this wings. i love the wind efect on them, but the ostium part ( like fingers?, falanges and carpo) dont seem like it should be...

sorry again for my english :P

    dont ever stop doing sculptures...

bye and sorry if i was anoing XD.

  • No worries my friend, we all have our own opinions so I appreciate your comments. My sculptures I know aren't for everyone's tastes, but that is completely fine.

Wow yeah man that would be great for me to see your work as I love dragons so much (obviously haha)

And thank you ever so muhc for your kindness :-D

  • you make me want to try this. lol. awesome awesome job on the textures!

  • Aw haha yeah man! Go for it!! And thank you so much!!

  • Hi your work is incredible but that material used to make these figures?

  • Wow!! great work and dedication..And perfect music selection! Keep it up

  • Aw thank you sooo much for your kindness :-) and originally I had different music but I had to change it and use youtubes selection!

  • I just got into sculpting myself, with super sculpey.

When you showed the dragon's body (before painting) it was black, is that a special kind of paint? or did it burn?

Your work is amazing, and you truly inspired me to keep going. I wish I could be there in person and watch you work.

  • Hello Sole,

Ah yes, it looks like I burnt it, but I painted it black because i was too eager to see what it would look like when black haha

Thank you so much for your kind words.. and I do hope you can forgive me for not writing back sooner. I haven't much time here you see!

  • JESUS CHRIST i actually want to try this now, i know ill probably fail but i just have to have one =D amazing work

  • Haha thank you my friend!! I am so sorry for not writing back sooner, time is lacking here you see! And yeah! Have a go and I'd love to see it! :-)

  • There really are no words adequate here. This is such an amazing 3-part demonstration, the outcome is so amazing, nothing short of astonishing. Thank you for sharing of yourself this way.

  • Aww bless you very much.. you're a true star thank you with all my heart :-)

  • This is.....insane....incredible.....even more in detail and .... lost at words heh.... then i thought possible. What medium is this? a type of Polymer clay?

Also, at this speed its hard to tell. Are you litterally cutting into the body and raising up the scales/hair or are you adding more on piece by piece?

  • Hello Vineheart, Sorry for the late reply I wish I had more time on my hands! I use Super Sculpey which is also known as Polymer Clay. Great stuff! Can be a little too soft for the more intricate details though. And I mostly cut into the body but I also raise the scales too on the tail more than anywhere else because it got damaged a few times. Thank you for taking so muhc interest and for your kind words my friend :-D

  • What materials and tools do you use to create these creatures? They are amazing... I've drawn many, many dragons, but have never actually attempted to make one - what advice could you give me?

    One again I am amazed!

  • it was like wacthing the brith of the creature you're incredible

  • lol Aw thank you my friend :-)

  • Amazing !

  • :-) Many thanks!!

  • I've always wanted to learn how to sculpt . But I got into WW2 AC instead . Glad I found your videos !! Your work is so fascinating !!!

  • Hey RudeRaptor, wow how did I miss this comment?? I hope you can forgive me my friend :-) Thank you very much for your kind words!

  • how and where are you baking that huge sculpture!!??!!?? I'm absolutely amazed with your work!

  • Hey buddy! Ah yes, you're not the only one who has asked me that! Well, normally I have the sculpt broken up very neatly, then have the individual pieces baked one by one, then stuck back together again. But with this one, I spent ages and ages and aageeees baking the whole thing with a heat gun! (really boring process lol) Thank you loads for your very kind words and interest my friend :-) Best wishes!

  • Ridiculously Excellent!

Is it possible to mold something this complex for mass production?

I bought all the supplies today to start making sculptures only thing Im missing is the smoothening liquid for the Super Sculpy, wOOt!

  • Hello Pagan!

My apologies for the late reply! I've never moulded any of my sculpts, due to lack of resources. But it is possible! You could mould anything really, but the more complicated the sculpt, the more you'd have to break up the sculpt into segments. And absolutely great to hear you're starting sculpture, please do let me know how it goes my friend :-)

Many thanks for your interest and much undeserved praise!

    Best wishes,

    Kenny.

  • you sir are now my favorite sculptor :D

you have given me the ideas and the inspiration to finish my dragon sculpture many thanks :D

  • Hello Darkdorment! Wow thank you so much for your kind words, and I am so glad I have somehow managed to inspire you. You gotta show me your work my friend! Thank you again :-)

  • Great man... I couldn't understand well the painting process.... especially what was that black thing you put at around 1:59 onwards.... could you explain?? If possible please? thanks

  • Oh I simply painted it black. Normally this is isn't vital (especially since it wasn't even complete at the time) But, I wanted to see how it would look. I baked it first for ages though.

  • Very, very cool Kenshiro! :D

  • Hey Miss. Fruity! Thank you! and good to see you on here! xx
