I'm having a big problem in MS and I hope someone can help me. The program is really screwing up my type, for example the commas are widely spaced apart from the words and the apostrophes scrunch in way too close. It's not an issue with the font because it works perfectly in Photoshop and I've been using it for years. Can anyone help me out?

Hey man, can you help me please? Everytime I open up the program, I have to select a zone with the magic wand to fill it, even if its closed black. If I don't go to the magic wand tool, and go select a color with my color wheel, It will just fill the whole thing, and it also seems I can only fill a zone with black or white! Please tell me how I can change a layer into a color layer, and use different colors other than black and white in my paintbucket.
@GabinRevolution go to layer>change layer type> at this point you can see the default layer are black and white, change it into 32bit color. i hope this help.

Isn't Manga Studio EX 4 a better software than Manga Studio Debut 4? Any comments? Manga Studio Debut 4 costs $35-50 USD whereas Manga Studio EX 4 costs $165-300 USD on the Internet. Anyhow, great video.
@orestesdd for me between the debut and ex is exactly the same the basic thing for example doing the panel and any other function regarding comic making are there. the only different between ex and the debut is the ex got extra thing like you can import 3d object and turn into raster drawing, the "tool" are more than the debut has. other than that I'm not sure. so just go to debut version, its better you get comfortable before getting the ex version.
@orestesdd I draw a lot of architectural stuff (buildings) and the perspective tool and other rulers in EX is invaluable for me. Last I checked, debut didn't have these rulers.
@MikiChanCatGirl separate between sketches and final drawing in different layer. after finish with the sketch just click the eye icon in the layer. if you want to get rid of it permanently just click the bin icon near to layer.

@xXxRAWCAWxXx To tell the truth its not that simple you need a story line and charachters but then you have to make sure that there story lines mesh because me and my sis are making a manga but it it took us a long time to think of the story line then we got the charachters names we have a total of 30 charachters weve been practicing making the charachters for 2 years now to get used to drawing them the same maybe the fourth year well start the manga then well go to makeing openings:D

@SunBreaker6 if you just started i suggest you buying just a wacom bamboo, its cheap and for me it preaty reliable for a tablet since it come from one of the best tablet manufacture,wacom. even though it dont have any screen but it do the job. actually i,m using 3 program 1:- manga studio for comic maker purpuse only. photoshop and skecthbook pro 2011, i really like this two software for illustration. but if you on window i suggest for you to use either paintool sai or opencanvas.

@POTANangGANDAngSONG From my experience, when you're talented, it helps a lot. I'm not really talented but I put time into my drawings and I get where the talented are step by step. This should be possible when you're experienced in drawing :)
@GabinRevolution you must save the picture or drawing as jpeg, and if it looks crap like you said before go to Iphoto or photoshop and change the IDP to 600 on the photo setting. If I didn't get the right answer to help you then reply my back on a PM with the problem because YT is very crazy help.

@POTANangGANDAngSONG From my experience, when you're talented, it helps a lot. I'm not really talented but I put time into my drawings and I get where the talented are step by step. This should be possible when you're experienced in drawing :)

@TheGreySanctuary I mean exporting it as a png or as a jpeg and Importing the new image file into iphoto or something of the sort.

@GabinRevolution you must save the picture or drawing as jpeg, and if it looks crap like you said before go to Iphoto or photoshop and change the IDP to 600 on the photo setting. If I didn't get the right answer to help you then reply my back on a PM with the problem because YT is very crazy help.

@questionmark14 open photoshop>File>Open and choose the drawing...I prefer jpeg. Before you close manga studio save it as jpeg and its done.

Ive got a Bamboo Pen & Touch Fun Medium coming this week plus im gonna get Manga Studio Ex too. Not sure though, its out of Manga Studio Ex, sticking with my Photoshop or getting Illustrator.
Anyone have a preference?

I... freaking... love... the tablet... but... its... too much MONEEEYY! I have a no-screen one, but jeez! Its much easier when you can see what your drawing, instead of looking at the screen while your hand moves.
