COOL VID! Love your Lace Monitors... They are just plain beatifull. And a great track under it, some o'school house for ya there. :D
I just started out keeping monitor lizards, got two 7 wk old yellow ackies. A lace monitor is probably a dream that will never come true for me, not in Holland...
@MilanRotterdam thanks for your comments! The great thing about ackies is that they have all of the attitude and behaviour of larger monitor species in a smaller package that's more easily housed, so don't fret too much about not being able to get lace monitors.
@aw8one it takes them a fair while before they become less secretive, but I don't handle them at all until they are well past that and actually start approaching me.
@YFZ450Kid09 wait, are you the kid that keeps a green tree monitor in a mesh enclosure, indoors? I'm guessing you're not quite ready for a lace monitor.
Yes, I am. As you live in the US, though, it's probably not worth your while moving to another country on the other side of the globe just to buy one. :)
I don't know they are quiet the lookers. Plus you would be living in Australia with one of the most dense and diverse reptile wild life. Cough (great barrier reef too). Finally I'm sorry i have not written you back on the enclosure, I have been recovering from H1N1 and have finally been feeling like myself last day or so.
