  • Love the perspective.

By His Stripes you have been healed.

1 Peter 2:24, God said YES!!! when He sent His SON.

    Be Healed!

  • love this dude, god bless

  • @DollarForty Do you believe in God and heaven? Those that are his are healed. maybe not here on ths earth, but in heaven...yes they are

  • Glad to see such an awesome man has such a hot wife

  • God is in control of everything, even Satan. St. Paul had a thorn in the flesh but God did not remove it even after Paul begged for healing. If we accept that God does not always heal or at least not right away then we will not feel worse by thinking its something to do with our faith, or behaviour, etc. But notice in the story, God does give the grace to go thru it....as He told Paul "my grace is sufficient for you." 2 Cor 12:9

  • @stuword323 I'm not sure if 'control' would be the right word. It sounds as if God also 'controls' who he wants to tempt and make someone fall through Satan, you know what I mean?

But yes, God is in control of His plans and it will never fail.

  • @stuword323 Pauls' thorn was not a sickness, it was persecution.

  • @SoldierOfChrist110 what makes you think Paul was using a figure of speech? there is nothing in the passage that suggests it to me. also, where else in the NT do you see sickness being used as a metaphor for persecution? Paul often spoke of numerous difficulties he went through like hunger, sleeplessness, dangers from false teachers et cetera. Paul states the reason for the physical issue is to keep him form exalting himself 2Cor 12:7

  • @stanjz But Paul's thorn in the flesh wasn't sickness. This is a deep debate but if you want me to prove it I can send it to you in email. I have come across many people who said healing has worked for them when healing cancer. It's just many Christians don't have true faith and they don't know how to do it properly.

  • It's so weird to see him on this show. I thought Chandler passionately hated the Word Of Faith movement...

  • Im with Scottie!!!!!

  • I feel I'm taking crazy pills reading ur posts and seeing the clip. God heals PERIOD! God is faithful NOT MEN.

  • hey man ...i believe that GOD CAN and Will heal you !! :) its good to see you having so much faith , and if GOD doesnt heal you then it is just partt of gods amazing plan that he has for you :) AMEN

  • What a champ! God bless him aye.

  • No one prays for the everyday person. Most of the time they are just pushed to a side. Take a look one day at the nursing homes, and the people with a chronic illness . Some of them cant even afford their medication. So pray for this man, I am glad he was helped. there are many who are not, yet they go on every day sometimes in pain for years on end. sorry, I dont like his grand standing, I wonder if he was not getting paid what he would be doing?

  • @ronv11 I vehemently agree.

  • Truth. I like it when Christians are open to all of God's mysterious options.

  • Yes he is! Matt is the pastor of the Village church near Dallas, Texas

  • We live under a new covenant where sin has been nailed to the cross, there is no more punishment,God didn't give him cancer or allow it. You can't have God handing sickness out then having Jesus pray against it. A house divided can't stand, he gave us the power and authority to destroy the works of the devil and cancer is a work from Satan

  • @17MrScottie God didn't allow it? If God didn't allow it, how did Satan cause it?

  • @17MrScottie We are still a fallen creation but we trust God to be delivered. We are still burdened with the curse of sin but God gives us the strength to over come it. Trials and hardship will still come we aren't spared from the problems of this world.

  • @17MrScottie I thoroughly agree.

  • he can, he will, even if he doesnt :)

  • @imsillyareyou unbelief will cause you to not receive D:

  • I just saw him in Orange Beach AL and he was an AMAZING speaker!!

  • @rleeermy I am not sure that's how God would want him to go, but who knows why it happened.

  • @OmoItsekiri John 10:10

    Jesus said why it happened.

  • @SaintsnotSinners Thank you, :)

  • @rleeermy That's part of the point of what he said: "If I'm here, well let's work, if I go home (die) that's even better".

  • hey guys, my english is not very good, can someone help me,what does matt says about baptist preach and what was the joke about it? lol

    thanks

  • @Tomsedated he was just saying that he believes that God will heal him, that he will grow old, and one day he will be an old baptist preacher. it wasn't really a joke.

  • @Tomsedated He will be an old preacher who loves all types of christians = not just the baptists.

  • I don't get it. Didn't god give him the brain cancer in the first place?

  • @hmala Pastor Matt has said that he doesn't believe that God gave him cancer, but that he definitely wasn't surprised when he was diagnosed & he did nothing to stop it.

  • @hmala God does not give cancer. He lets it happen... It's obviously a trial to see how faithful Chandler is to God. Does Chandler only love God for all the good He gives in his life? Or does Chandler love God unconditionally. This video proves it all.

  • @shovTUBE yes!! "He replied, "You are talking a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" " -Job 2:10

  • amazing preaching, check out the village church podcast on itunes

  • a man of faith

  • no. he didn't die.

  • Did he die ?

  • I'm not trying to be offensive here, but why do people belive in God?

  • He can, He will, but even if He doesn't.... What a wonderful place of faith to live in. Win, Win situation. Sounds like Brother Paul to me....
