This is sort of a mundane speculation... but I wonder if there is actually a procedure for getting refugees or others onto a plane without a passport? like the guy was suggesting in option 3. The liberal media doesn't want to report on it because it will cause a backlash against refugee immigration. Whether or not this was a 'staged event' the media-state will use this overblown incident to push the policies it wants.

From what I know, there is a procedure or protocol for refugees without passports but it is taken care way before the flight and by immigration officials, diplomats/representatives, basically people in high positions, not with a clerk at a boarding gate. In other words, someone with the right contacts and under certain conditions can board a flight without a passport.
