I can count on one hand the number of times i've cried in life. My Little Dashie was one of them. It's weird, I didn't cry during Schindler's List, when my dog died, or when my parents got divorced, but a fanfic about a pony made me shed totally manly tears. Hmmm. And My Little Dashie hit it hard while unprotected. My life hasn't become easier. But MLP and My Little Dashie gave me a different angle. It is now more bearable.

I don't usually cry, and can usually force my way through a sad movie no problem. But this... this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. I fought so hard to keep back the tears, but to no avail. The only reason I put on the video is because I simply couldn't force myself through reading it. Out of all the pieces i've ever experienced, this has been the most emotional I've ever read. Tears have been wept, and hearts have been changed. I'm sure you can relate.

I can count on one hand the number of times i've cried in life. My Little Dashie was one of them. It's weird, I didn't cry during Schindler's List, when my dog died, or when my parents got divorced, but a fanfic about a pony made me shed totally manly tears. Hmmm. Oh well time to go watch episode 15 again.

I cried at the end of My little Dashie... For the First time in YEARS I cried, then I cried again hearing that song. I've never felt so sad before in a long time, I was crying and smiling at the same time in the end, this was a first in years. I really do feel like a better person after reading this story. I really need a hug now. :')

This fanfic was suggested to me and it really touched me and made me feel different and a better person. "What's the big deal" I thought. "You're a grown man how should that story have any effect on you?" I thought. But I've learned something about me that day. For years, in fact since my best friend died back in 2004, I hadn't cried. Not even during awful breakups or anything else. MLP:FIM opened my heart again after such a long time. And My Little Dashie hit it hard while unprotected. My life hasn't become easier. But MLP and My Little Dashie gave me a different angle. It is now more bearable.

I don't usually cry, and can usually force my way through a sad movie no problem. But this... this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read. I fought so hard to keep back the tears, but to no avail. The only reason I put on the video is because I simply couldn't force myself through reading it. Out of all the pieces i've ever experienced, this has been the most emotional I've ever read. Tears have been wept, and hearts have been changed. I'm sure you can relate.

Thnx for the link to MLDashy. Just read the whole thing. Not a tear was shed. Overall rate it decent. But that's just an opinion. I get why people bawl though, I just didn't find it particularly strong storytelling. (Maybe if it were longer, there were bits that, i.m.o. could've been elaborated a bit).
