awesome!! I dunno if anyone knows but these guys are back together and have a new album that came out this month...seeing them in February. They have a different sound now but I still dig them alot! Can't ever forget what an influence "Something To Write Home About" had on me! Can't wait...getting their original 1997 vinyl pressing of "Four Minute Mile" in the mail soon! :)

@halokiller27 you're right about all of that, up until you say it "fucked everything up." bands couldn't keep aping the stuff you named (although it's kinda come back around today), so they brought other influences, and the Get Up Kids brought hooks and song structure. but there will never be any convincing of you purists.

They are considered one of the original emo acts (bands) when emo was still good. Also falls under indie, but, nevertheless, they are amazing no matter how you want to classify them.
