  • why was mimi being such a bitch when John hugged her and cried....a hot man in touch with his feelings. what is wrong with that?

  • the woman that plays mimi, really does resemble mimi a lot. good job with that!

  • @YTsucks300 While the Anthology just says "he died" (oh wow) Hunter Davies' bio says it was haemoptysis

  • Cancer.. Is what i read once.

  • @chaseurdream101 :o thats cool! I looove the beatles. I was named after the song "Julia"

  • @chaseurdream101 so doesnt that make you his 3rd cousin?

  • @chaseurdream101 It's Paul McCartney not McCarthy.

  • @chaseurdream101 That's so cool man, does she ever talk to him?

  • @chaseurdream101 who's paul mccarthy

  • @chaseurdream101 McCartney :)

  • @InnocenceExperience I had this same situation. go on to let me watch this. just google it. and then type in the movie and it comes up with a load of hyperlinks. and go onto the hyperlink called like put locker or something, and you can watch the whole movie. I don't think it gives you viruses. at least I hope not..

  • aaron johnson and josh bolt < 3

  • Aw, Aaron even captured John Lennon's distinguishing laugh. :D

  • Aaron Johnson is beautiful. And John Lennon is a freaking genius.

  • why did john lennon got his nob out?

  • Comment removed

  • Can I just clear something up? Nowhere Boy is an amazing film about John Lennon; although, it was inaccurate. They really changed a lot of stuff, straying from what actually happened & making it more, "cinematic." As a movie, it was mind blowing. Aaron was genius. It was heart-wrenching & inspiring. And Paul McCartney even said it himself: “I understand, its a film, not a documentary.” So if he could forgive the movie, why can’t the others? Stop the hate. Nowhere Boy was brillant.

  • Yeah that's kick ass... Also Robbie from Angus, thongs, and perfect snogging

  • is that kick ass thts playing john?

  • @rdframe1 OMG I THOUGHT he looked farmiliar!

  • pls upload all parts

  • @MsTeenBirmingham God, I was only trying to be friendly! I was just saying what I thought....

  • @EIGreyback He says. "Hey Tarbuck" So yes probably.

  • I love the relationship between John and his uncle haha

  • dude johns dad is cool man

  • @Prankedbyjake2 UNCLE GEORGE sorry

  • ok where is part 2???????

  • @unclemort1960 What didn't he suffer from, dude? (I wish I were joking about that, but I'm not)

  • @bobbydh822 He suffered from appendicitis, a very bad cold, and once a concussion. He wasn't in the hospital ALL the time.

  • Aaron Johnson is so great in this.

  • Hey, where's part two?!

  • OK JOHN LENNON HAD BROWN EYES

AND HE NEVER LEARNT HOW TO WRITE MUSIC

    TWO ERRORS I CAUGHT

  • if you want to watch the whole thing it was shown last night on channel 4 so you can watch it thee not saying that you shouldnt watch it here :L just saying x

  • @101Becka if it was shown last night, how are we meant to watch it now...?

  • @RequiemHD go on channel 4 iplayer thing and you can watch it but only if your in the uk and northern irleand i think xx hioed ui helped and sorry if im making no sense :>)

  • @101Becka Ah thank you!

  • @RequiemHD no problem glad i could help :)

although you have 5 days left to watch it because you only have a week ..

  • Thanks for uploading the whole thing! Awesome:)

  • He doesn't look like John Lennon, and "Paul McCartney" doesn't look like Paul McCartney

  • @Lmusik00futL Joaquin Phoenix looked nothing like Johnny Cash and still got nominated for an oscar for a brilliant performance in Walk the Line. If you need your actors to be the spitting image of the people they're playing to find them believable, then I'd respectfully suggest you lack imagination.

  • @eezysqueezy It would be better if the main character (who is pretending to be John Lennon), would look more like the real Lennon. It's not lack of imagination, it that, when someone is impersonating a real person, he should look like that real person, because that makes the movie more real and with a more realistic feeling. It's just that.

  • @Lmusik00futL I say pick the best actor for the role rather than get some John Lennon clone in who maybe won't deliver a performance that is worthy of the movie. Obviously you couldn't pick someone who looks completely different to Lennon as that would detract from the film. I've seen the film and I have to say Aaron Johnson was brilliant in it. His lack of resemblance to John Lennon faded away for me very quickly. Each to their own though, I suppose.

  • Shameless Dad is the uncle! LOL

  • 1:58

  • I'm sorry, but I feel like the director only hired this dude to play John because she was attracted to him. They ended up getting married.

  • that guy is way to sexy to be john... It makes me forget this movie is about him..

  • to everyone who is about to watch this, dont bother, the only parts which youtube hasnt blocked is part 1, 3 and the last part :/

  • well hard days nights in g thats in Ab

  • "Glasses John!!" lol

  • every Lennon movie ive seen has continuity errors somebody should make a movie about his whole life with no continuity errors and try to make it the more realistic possible

  • @themusica95 Yeah but this movie is actually based on a john lennon book by he half sister. so it should be pretty realistic.....

  • @Darkblossomxx i didn't know thanks for the fact but it still has continuity errors foe example shotton left the quarrymen before Paul joined and ha actually left voluntarily because he no didnt enjoy playin

  • @themusica95

But all this happened in an indefinite length of time. The director couldn't have just wasted time and THEN film what you said. It's much easier doing things one after the other.

  • @Mazza4Azza actuqlly some events happened on a know amount of time for example uncle george died when he was 14 john got his first guitar almost at age 16 and formed the quarrymen 5 monyhs before turnin 17

  • youtube is removing your movie parts, this sucks please re-upload if you can ^^

    Thanks

  • This movie is so amazing!! I love it <3 The best line is ''Theres nowhere for the genius' sir, because then i probably do belong there''! He is so amazing i wonder when John Lennon became famous what his teachers thought, when they saw him become one of the most famous'est people ever!! Haha they were WRONG! But John knew he was great! His little giggle is so cute! <3

  • is it just me...?

or does the john character look so much like pete best..?

  • I seriously just swoon through this entire movie.

  • Glasses John! "Glasses John!" 8D

  • This movie is fantastic, but unfortunately it's overlooked. We need a huge, great, Oscar-winning, blockbuster Beatles movie!

  • quarry bank school is now called calderstones school !!!! my brother used to go there!!!!

  • Now that I've seen part 1, I really really want to keep watching, but most of the parts are missing, so be warned before you get a taste of the nectar.

  • @InnocenceExperience damn i saw your comment at the end of this

  • My school was on that road where Strawberry Field is at the start. It looks so familiar. Funny to think John Lennon was really going up and down that road.

  • just remember a decade ago there was a big, big war, WW2, i mean in this movie... is like a daily 9/11 ,each and every day...

  • @migu9999 that many people didn't die in Liverpool every day from the bombing, did they?

  • its to pay tribute plus not just paul ringo and george arent getting movies either im thinking since because john was half of the great song writing duo and since he left such big following with his music and his peace activist work

  • they made the aunt mimi character a real bitch in this movie

  • Is there any movies for Paul like this?

  • "Glasses John" *mimics* "Glasses John" Lol

  • this is amazing thank you f--king great

  • There's always something in these movies that's wrong. I think the fans know more than those who make them. I wish they'd make one completely about Lennon, his entire life really. As well as one from the very beginning. Everyone knows about John and Paul's meeting, but they seem to forget that the first two that met are Paul and George.

So now I'm off to watch this...

  • Worst movie ever id rather watch never say never

  • @ Cherryblossom3x3 I did lol

  • who else thought of harry potter when you saw those glasses?

  • This movie dumb

  • Your upper lip is cool

  • dang... aaron johnson.. what a privilege he gets to play the great John Lennon

  • "cock off Lennon or cock out". classic

  • glasses john, i luv it jaja

  • 'He's dead;

    'LOL'.

  • anyone else notice strawberry fields at 1:40 ?

  • That was incredibly harsh of mimi to basically say 'do your grieving in private'. I fucking hate that cold, isolationist mentality, its always best to grieve around the ones you love instead of bottle it up.

  • @madcapoperator you its just a movie ? the scene didn actually happen like its shown

  • @murri241 my comment was a reaction to a heart wrenching scene in the film. problem?

  • johns uncle george died when john was with his mom or something

  • ringo needs a movie. hes my favorite beatle

  • @something1963 well Ringo didn't have a sad life really

  • @something1963 ringo is by far the best beatle he`d actually say things like `i`ve had a hard days night`.noel gallagher said ringo was his favourite beatle `cos he did`nt have to do nowt`!

  • I love being highest voted comment(:

  • I don't want to sound cliche or anything but....ah, what the heck....PAUL MCCARTNEY NEEDS A MOVIE!!!!

  • @ChildofNemesis14 defo :)

  • Love the opening scene X)

  • JOHN LENNON NEEDS A MOVIE....... based on his life during and after the Beatles. Who doesn't want to see what happened behind the scenes when he and Paul made it, when he meet Yoko, when he became an activist, and when he moved to the States.

  • wheres part 2 ?

  • Bob Marley needs a movie.

  • @pascalelr that's random, but ya now that i think about it, it's true.

  • @pascalelr Why mention him on this movie? And why does John Lennon get the movie? Paul should have gotten his own movie.

  • @pascalelr ya his life story is awesome

who would play him prob a nobody would be best

  • JIM MORRISON NEEDS A MOVIE!!!

  • Well.. just finished first part and... BORINGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • @pphaY Well.. Just read your comment and... FUCK OFF.

  • @pphaY So I guess you're a BORINGGGGGGGGGGG person.

  • Mimi = Hyacinth Bucket?! WTF

  • Wow six minutes into the movie and I already was crying:( this is the first time I'm watching this movie:)

  • thankyou xx

  • Where's the second part?

  • I love this movie- not only as a Beatles/Lennon fan- but because its so inspiring

  • the rest of the whole movie is like blocked now wtf

  • - He's dead.

    - Nehehe

  • why they love to put devil eye before the movie?

  • Glasses John!!!!

  • Aaron's laugh <3

  • i was going to watch the other movie..In His Life: John Lennon Story but i had alot of friends who told me this is much more better, so thanks for posting!! =)

  • oh my god the guy that is playing john is so sexy yummy

  • Was I the only one expecting A Hard Day's Night to come on at 0:32?

  • @buttonchuck no, so was I :)

  • @buttonchuck nope

  • @buttonchuck no :)

  • @buttonchuck judgeing by the fact you got 62 likes, probably not. but I was expecting it too

  • @buttonchuck i was too lol

  • When this film ended, I wish it didn't. But I guess a film about John Lennon's life would probbaly exceed 5+ hours anyway

  • @GagasLitteMonster Excessively.

    less than three, man

    no homo

  • that opening chord is in the wrong key. haha but whatever.

  • @MrAznPillow Don't be an asshole, enjoy the fookin movie!

  • @dkthg i didnt even make a big deal out of it, i just wanted to point out something i thought was interesting. and i said it was "whatever"

  • It's unfortunate that it only covers until 1960. I wish that it could have covered more.

  • @Bibledigger322 im pretty sure movies like "backbeat" cover 1960-62

  • @MrAznPillow I know, but I would like to know about movies that cover the majority of "Beatlemania". Any suggestions?

  • @Bibledigger322 i want to hold your hand

  • @Bibledigger322 wasn't beatlemania like 63-66? xD i dont know xP as for movies. i guess you could watch the beatles own movies like "Help" or "Hard Days Night" hmm or i guess you should watch the Beatles Anthology, that covers a lot. but thats more of a documentary
