A GTX550ti CANNOT operate at such frequencies, and if it could, it would fry itself. Also, I think you're grotesquely misinformed. An FTW GTX 460 for example (still less powerful than my overclocked card) will still out-perform any GTX 550ti out there. You don't seem to know much about PCs, so go google some GPU benchmarks, show it to me, and then come back here.

@AAbed1984 yeah the 5970 is the fastest graphics card but it's dual gpu and the crossfire scaling isn't the best but it's a lot better than during the relase time amd did a good work on cross fire scaling no dubt, and to be honest im curious about the 6990 how it wil perform against the first dual fermi gpu which will be relase in the next year so then we will have a true monster battle, but it wll be all about the scaling SLI and crossfire, and i'm just happy with my gtx 480 with 20 % OC

first its called GTX 295 and yes it can go up to Quad SLI if you have a mobo with 4 pcie x16/pcie 2.0 x16 but i would go 2.0 x16 cuse the data rate is faster. its 16gb/s on 2.0 and x16 is 8gb/s ans also try to find a board were u can get the slots to go x16/x16/x16/x8 or all x16/ but usually ppl get x16/x16/x8/x8 or x16/x16/x8/x4 but if you are going quad SLI on the GTX295 u better have a beast PSU with alot of 6/8 pin and 1000W+. and alot of case cooling. 3 9800GTX are faster than 2 GX2

2 9800GTX are faster than 1 GX2

Reason being the cores in the GX2 arent even close to the GTX, the reason the GX2 is so fast is because it is like running SLI but it has faster communication between the 2 GPUs... hope that helps :)

I have the xfx 9800gx2 myself and i must say its a great card but money wise id say grab 2 9800gtx as it will be cheaper.

As for the power supply im running a 9800gx2 with a thermaltake true power 750w PSU so if you decide on a 2 9800gx2 then i'd say use no lower than an 850w or preferably a 1000w but do not use cheap power supply's.

If you want Crysis running highest setting, highest resolution and MAX AA then id say get a gtx295.
