@rzepa10 Straight to AE make sure you change the frame rate in after effects twixtor plug in to 50fps (the same as what you recorded for best results)

@SmeegsVonDeeks Thanks. One more question. I tested both programs, and I think in most of simple works even twixtor, noise reduction, stabilization and later saving the movie to some "normal size file" :) Sony Vegas is much faster. Am I right or am I doing something wrong in AE ?

Just a tip but if you render the raw file with upper fields first, you need to set upper fields first on the twixtor. This almost completely gets rid of the ghosting!

@MattJWilkins Really good point. They are all showing video game footage because this product is highly used in game montages. Therefore lots of people look for tutorials on how some montages were edited and here we are. Im not completely sure how it works with real life footage but im pretty sre if you use a good camera and record at high fps just use the same fps as the video and slow it down by about 80%. Its kinda all the same when you play arroud with it. Good luck

@iDualtage The reason is because you need to enable time remapping. Its in the video, watch carefully. After enabling time remapping you need to drag the clip duration for the whole 30 seconds.

OK, so the main tip is this: Don't use twixtor for anything that has a lot of motion because it looks horrible. I've been trying to eliminate ghosting on a high motion clip and i've had a terrible time

@editboy23 haha thats the reason for ghosting. Unless the frame rate is from an ultra high def camera with something like 1000fps. Twixtor, on a shot like that looks incredible. What sort of clip are you using twixtor on?

@SmeegsVonDeeks it's a shot of a sprint car twisting around during a crash. The problem i've been having is the ghosting is weird, almost like a morph.  I've tweaked it and got some pretty acceptable results though. I'll post when it's up.

@guitar23man23 thats where you need to extend the clip enabling time remapping. From there you drap the clip to extend it. If you cant extend it anymore. Make the project last longer. watch 9:46

@CrimsonisGod it depends how long the clip is and how many effects youve added. It also depends on your pc. Be sure to change the render settings like i did and it should speed it up. I have a quad core so it takes about 5 minutes for a 15 second clip.
