Wow how did he get placed in this position twice? AMerica's smart folks have been shouldering the country for centuries, The average people have been carrying the work load and the poor have been struggling to improve their lot, and now we have this dumb-fuck undoing centuries of progress.
Alberto Gonzaeles did nothing wrong? I would say for starters; he betrayed his position as Attorney General by allowing the subjugation of his authority by White House insiders, not the least of whom was the President himself. He simply was a stooge for GWB.
Bush is the perfect person to have run this country, he is excatly like the idiots who live in this county. Who got the idea that we Americans as a whole are somehow an imformed or intellectual group? Gore (and Kerry) were nothing like your average Wal-Mart shopping American.

The average american is not smart, intellegent, well-educated or rich, the average american is just that, average.
Since average americans are the majority in this country does it surprise anybody that the majority of our country chose someone who is a plain spoken as most of the people in our country?
Agreed, while the mechanics, logistic and manner in which Bush's ideology has been executed has failed our county, this does not make his ideology bad.
I strongly disagree with that, if your heart was in the right place, you wouldn't invade a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, you wouldn't be shaking hands with the saudis and you def. won't be trying to salvage one war for another. all he cares about is oil..
No I am all for having peace talks with leaders of other nations, good or bad but not with the saudis, who is osama was so clearly associated with. And FYI, TERRORISM hasn't decreased because of our actions, if anything it has prompted more young rebellious kids to join in the fight for their country...
Whats your evidence? did he ever SAY that all he cared about was oil? I believe his actions speak volumes. He kept us informed. After 9/11 he stood side by side with a firefighter, he carries to this day a police badge from a fallen american. He went to katrina and participated in its rebuilding HIMSELF, with HIS HANDS. Bush was a good man with morals. I wish Obama was like him. But alas, he strives for a socialist government,
he didnt even show up to katrina. my family lives there and now cannot stand him because of how uninvolved he was with katrina. He didnt keep us informed to shit. ive never seen one damn interview where even answers a question head on. he just walks around it like a elementary school kid who didnt read the book for his report. as for 9/11 i wont even get into that but why dont you go watch a movie called "zeitgeist" on google video, its free and full of answers on 9/11 and the liar that is Bush.
I wont watch that video because its propeganda formed by the liberal media. people are still blaming bush for OBAMAS mistakes even now. its getting to be old news at this point. i dont care what the video says, 9/11 was caused by terrorists who wanted us to die. akll of those theories are a waste of time. thank you.
you wont watch the video because its questioning what you believe in. ive looked at both cases and the facts go toward that 9/11 was an inside job in order to get over seas and start this unneceassry killing. I have all the respect in the world for the people that suffered through it and died, they aren't to blame. its the corrupt world we live in thats to blame and Bush is apart of it. And by the way, everything that Bush has given for 9/11 could easily just be propaganda formed by republicans.
And part of it probably is propeganda like any other government, but most liberals act all high and mighty like their shit dont stink. lemme tell you something. it would be fantastic if everyone could live in peace, but reality says it will never happen. not a hundred years ago, not five minutes ago, and not tomarrow. peace sells, but whose buying. personally, i'd MUCH rather have bush than obama, obama has done nothing but take my money in a time that i cant afford.
The weird thing is that you don't hear them saying that any of the other attacks (WTC bombing in 93) and attempts (i.e.Colorado guy that planned a subway bombing) are Gov conspiracies. The controversy is mainly based on the way the bldgs fell and a few other details. Unfortunately, too many believe it's a conspiracy and it will be part of the 9/11 trial in NYC, just wait.
If you had to deal with the ridiculous smearing campaigns by the democrats you would be angry too! Go Bush. Tell the senate what's up. The senate isn't the courtroom.

Dick Cheney: I don't recall -- first of all, I haven't seen the story. And I don't recall that I gave instructions to that effect.
I think Bush is a good president I know by saying that some angry liberal is going to bash me.But I dont care because thats all liberals do is bash people for a different veiw on some one they hate.
This war is only for economic purposes! The Television has alienated us with things to consume and it blocks our eyes to the reality. Most powerfull people has the control. We only consume. Is possible another form of government. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!

That's way I got out of the Service in June 2000 (feeling weak also) because I didn't trust him going to War with Commander in Chief BUSH.
"When the people are scared of our government it is called tyranny. When the Government is scared of the people it is called Liberty" -Abraham Lincoln
His responses just continue to get more and more embarrassing and are a total insult to our intelligence. He can't help but make an ass of himself stuttering and pausing because he's lying through his own teeth to defend the ones that do his bidding. Even if Gonzales supposedly has done nothing wrong he still has proven himself to be unfit as the attorney general given that he's had amnesia for quite some time now. The people that take the heat are just fall guys for the people higher up.
If Clinton were to run for a third term he would have won the office again. The Americans love him. It is not fair comparing him with this loser BUSH who haven't talked to the reporters for more than 3 weeks.
Clinton, dispite getting a bj, was a damn great President. Even Reagan didnt balance the budget and have a surplus. This Bushwacker, talk about loser, should never be compared to President Clinton.
Despite getting a BJ, Pardoning tons and tons of criminals, being disbarred, being impeached, Whitewater, Filegate, Travelgate, First president sued for sexual harassment, first accused of rape, had the greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions... but yeah... great president.
Seriously? He was still convicted, he still had to pay the $250,000 fine, and he still has 2 years of parole. Could you just shrug that off and say no big deal?
If I was operating at the level that Libby is, sure I could. Anyone in this country, who did what he did would be enjoying a nice prison term. But Bush pardons him, displaying that the rule of law means nothing concerning his friends.
Do you people not understand the difference between a pardon and a commuted sentence? A pardon is basically wiping clean the slate. Never happened. A commuted sentence, which is what libby got, means he was still convicted, still has probation and still has fines.
I understand the difference. Probation is nothing, care urself straight and stay out of trouble. Fines? Libby is an lawyer and they do rather well, plus a GM-15 makes around 175K a year, I am sure he can handle it. He cant practice law again or head a corp. so what. He is in his late 50s be can retire. I feel no pity for him and have no respect for Bush.

At least you understand. However, think about it. He is now a convicted felon. He can't vote, purchase a handgun or practice law anymore. Plus a $250,000 fine is a big chunk of change to nearly anyone. And for what? Because he wouldnt snitch on somebody. It was a political witchhunt and libby took the fall for it.
I respected the man´s politics, but not his morals. Then again the hallmark of a great politican is they all lie. But why does it always boil down to this or that, if you dislike bush, you are a clinton lovin tree huggin, hacky sack playing liberal. If you like bush you are a war mongering, oil drinkin cowboy. not helpful.
Because every idiot I've ever talked to about bush goes right to clinton. Clinton did this and that, blah blah blah. So, for example, I hear people rag bush about an "alleged" incident of cocaine use. I bring up the fact clinton has overdosed on cocaine on several occasions... then they get mad and usually call me a fucker or something. I love the double standard.
But why does there have to be the contrast, why cant bush stand alone for what he does, he has to be compaired to the last president. clinton was 7 years ago...get over it already. bush has fooked up plenty that he needs to be compaired to the other loser in class..."hey mom I got a D in math"..."damn son...." "mom its ok, cause this kids bill be got cheating and fingerbanging the fat chick during the test, so I did just fine". Sad
Okay fine.... please explain this then: Why do you liberals hate bush so much? Is it because he's not the best speaker? Because he pardons people and commutes sentences (like every other president in history has done)? Because he engaged in a war that was voted for by damn near every democratic senator and most of congress? What?
Why hate Bush? Its not so much that I hate Bush, its just that I hate what this administration has done on almost every level: the Patriot Act, the Imperialist War-Mongering, torture, lies, every where you turn its just plain evil. The democrats are no better. Clinton was a liar and murderer, too. In fact, Clinton was making money by allowing the Bush drug cartel (CIA) to run drugs through Mena, Arkansas while he was governer.
"the Bush drug cartel (CIA) to run drugs through Mena, Arkansas while he was governer." That says alot about the sitting (bulldog) prez...what's more important-what Clinton did then or what your Prez is doing now, which by the way makes his druggin' days look like sainthood.
Powitree, why ask which is more important when one thing leads to another? I don't care so much about George W. using drugs-- its the Bush family/CIA mobster drug running that I think is a problem-- a huge problem even today. Its a big part of why we are in Afganistan--the opium/herion production has increased incredibly, google it. American troops guarding poppy fields, wow. BTW, George Bush Sr.'s nickname? Poppy.
Maybe a better question is why are you defending the man? What has be done that is so wonderful for America? Response to 9/11? If you find that as a reason to embrace him as a hero...then that shows a natural human response to cling to those who share like status (us against them). Bush has got us in needless war (Iraq) a overdrawn war(Afghan), still hasnt caught Bin Laden, destroyed civil liberties and habus corpus. Yet to continue to take up for him.
Sheatwole, to reply to your question:Why do you liberals hate bush so much? Me count the ways: He took us into an illegal war based on at the very least poor intel-more likely out and out lies about WMD into occupation in Iraq, a country that had NOTHING to do with 9/11. He destroyed thousands upon thousands of lives for greed and power in his bloody, illegal war. Terrorism is the excuse. How deeply this country is now in debt thanks in large part to Bush's war? BAD MAN.
Sheatwole, I can think of many many examples of this administration dodging accountability. The Libby thing being the least of it. They get help from the congess and the mainstream media dodging these big issues.
Also not true. Since the democrats became the majority last year, they've continually done everything they could to destroy the bush administration and their credibility. And the media? Are you serious? They're in the same boat with congress...
hey manny... check out the list of people clinton pardoned... drug dealers, rapists... real criminals. I don't wanna hear about disgraceful and immoral.
Understood. However, you can't talk about someone being disgraceful and immoral without talking about clinton. You're calling president bush immoral because he commuted libbys sentence? He wasnt a coke dealer, human trafficker or a theif like clintons pardons. He was a public servant who took the fall for a government witchhunt.
i can talk about that because he interfered with a jury's verdict, a free pass for someone found guilty. any president who does that does not deserve respect.
Not true. He didnt interfere with the verdict. He commuted the sentencing. He still has a conviction on his name, a $250,000 fine to pay, and 2 years of probation to serve out. A commuted sentence is not to much to ask for a public servant who served as long as libby did.
Furthermore... If you had worked for a president for a number of years, and then one day you were brought on charges for lying about who leaked this, you would expect a little leniency from your boss (the president), and you can't say you wouldn't. Personally, I think he deserved a full pardon.
dude... it really does not matter how long you serve the president, a jury finds you guilty, you serve whatever punishment they give you. they gave libby a 2-year sentence and for bush to just step in and say "its too harsh" is mind boggling, and dishonorable. stick to running the country and stop getting your aides out of jail time.
Well first off... the only reason libby was brought up on charges and convicted in the first place was because he was a senior advisor in bush's cabinet. If scooter libby had been in clintons cabinet, he would never have been charged in the first place.
And secondly, the prosecutor knew all along Richard Armitage had leaked Nancy Plames CIA status to the media. Scooter Libby wouldn't reveal this to Fitzgerald, and he was subsequently brought up on charges not even relating to the case. So in short, Libby was convicted of not being a snitch.
So, if you were convicted of something on that level of ridiculousness, you're going to tell me that you wouldnt expect a bit of leniency? You wouldnt expect the president to help out his people, who are being targeted for being associated with him?
I can only hope that one day as the "decider" he will relize that he is responcable for all the people he apoints' actions. That the accountability falls on his shoulders. Thou I see Bush as a fake indavidual who just says crap that to keep us mocking him to keep our attention on how horrable he is and not take action.
I hope you are correct, however, I am not as optimistic as you about our fellow countryman who will more than likely be swayed by fearmongering and "hot button" topics come election time. There is always hope though.
Bush is getting to the point where he lies on ever question asked. The sad thing is, this country is so ignorant about what goes on in DC that they believe almost anything he says. Hearing he has a 20% approval rating in the US leads me to believe that 1 in every 5 Americans are retarded.
Capsource: I already answered this absurd post on another thread. This, and the "former North Vietnamese" rant are pretty much all you ever post, no matter what the topic, no matter what the thread, isn't that right? Talk about intellectual bankruptcy.
"Just give us a couple thousand more troops, a few more months, and another twenty billion dollars, and we'll WIN this war."
Sound familiar? It should. That's what they told us about Vietnam for ten years. It's what capsource and folks like him will be saying about Iraq ten years from now, if we don't elect a government with some common sense and, yes, some accountability.
LETS JUST SEE HOW MUCH THE LIBERALS 'SUPPORT' THE TROOPS
Bush War Adviser Says Draft Worth a Look
Aug 10
WASHINGTON (AP) - Frequent tours for U.S. forces in Iraq and Afghanistan have stressed the all-volunteer force and made it worth considering a return to a military draft, President Bush's new war adviser said Friday.
You certainly sound extremely, painfully, uneducated and illiterate. Now when did you serve our country in war? Didn't think so. You're as much a Chickenhawk as Cheney was during Viet Nam era, getting 5 deferments and stating "I had other priorities during the 60's". Fact.
"Oh no...THE LIBERALS ARE COMING; THE LIBERALS ARE COMING" Support in this context doesn't mean Joe Jockstrap "win at all costs" bullshit. "SUPPORT" in this context means we want them to come home ALIVE AND WELL!! BTW...why aren't YOU fighting?
Will not go into all the reasons this is a failed admin as there is not enough room - but reviewing the polls if you agree with him you are on the fringe - a neocon radical fringe. So waive your flag with blind eyes, dance with your snakes, speak in tounges, etc - he's your king.
OlderStillLearning: I don't know that any of these has a realistic shot of winning the nomination. The same can be said of my choices - Newt Gingrich (unofficial) - Republican and Duncan Hunter - Republican
At least there is no grey area with this clown. We have lost credibilty in the world community. Hopefully, we can make it through the next year, alive.
And, no! I am not moving or quiting on this country. Anybody doesn't like it - kiss my white, Irish, ass.
you have no idea what you talk about. "hopefully we can make it through the next year alive"? Is that what you said? They were asking that same question during WW1. Get a clue.
Yes! WWI - great analogy and explanation, professor. Thanks for policing YouTube and gracing us with a relevant, detailed, response.
Intent is to comment on the downward spiral of the current US administation's policiy on both foreign and domestic affairs. Conceding that history does repeat itself, I am not able to debate the nueances of a nearly one year old war.
On a more positive note, enjoyed viewing your vid "Drilling for Oil." It is the kind of vids I like to see on YT - a snapshot of an interesting process for extracting oil from the earth. I like your use of classical music. The process can interpreting by some as an art form.
Oh and for all those bush supporters talking about what he did for our economy, the unemployment rate in America was at its lowest under clinton, and any lack of unemployment in bush's REGIME is probably after effects of the clinton administration.
"lewis libby was held accountable" hold on,hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ,80 cities across USA calling for the impeachment of bush/cheney! congress still doesnt listen to the american people, they are corrupt too, next up more tax on your gas to pay for roads, hey why dont the use the money from their earmarked projects, case solved right ,nope jack up the taxes on gas, oddly enough experts claim gas prices will drop right when george steps out of the whitehouse
If Bush can convince his dad that the war wan't a mistake (and Scowcroft, and Baker, and Schwarzkopf), then maybe I'll listen to him. If he can't convince his own father, how is he supposed to convince the American people?
Good point, johnnyk. His own father didn't want to go to war with Saddam. This war is illegal. Congress didn't declare war. Bush is an elitist, imperialist traitor.
Actually I slightly lean to the wealthy side, but thanks for that gesture of help.
Our national debt has doubled... Stand by. I hate the thought that people like myself who were against that tax cut now have to pay for your mistakes. But then... you idiots knew it was coming, and still do.
yes, it does sound familiar...we fucked up and let chicken hawk politicians get us into Iraq...and just like Vietnam, it's going to take the real leaders of this country, it's people, to stand up and protest the crimes committed in there name...impeachment is to kind. i say we dust off the gallows.
Watch the news? I sometimes think that most of us would be better off without it. 90% of it is total liberal bunk. They tell you only what THEY want you to hear, nothing more, nothing less.
Hmm... there didn't seem to be much here. He got asked a accusatory question which was basically saying "You have no accountability: Please comment". That's nice. I have to say: Whatever.
You got part of that right, his response is always 'whatever' when it comes to accountability. I hope you're not of the opinion that that is 'Presidential' or worthy of the office of the most powerful person on earth. Which still boggles my mind.
Well, compared with Churchill, or any other true Orator of course not. But I still find that the question itself was leading and obviously trying to zing him. If I were the President and someone did that to me I'd be pretty pissed. I think most people would.
Look at this Chickenhawk pursing his lips like a 12 year old, answering (avoiding actually) with a smirk and a shrug. 'Who Me?' like Alfred E Newman. Unreal, that this is the President.
Of course they don't let that hayseed 'pick' his words anymore... lol. He says stuff like "The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur." —George W. Bush, discussing the decline of the French economy with British Prime Minister Tony Blair
There's no evidence whatsoever that he said that, by the way, it's pretty much a joke that caught on because it's just the kind of thing he would say.
This makes me think of the comment by John Kerry that, "I've never seen liars like these." I've never seen such unchecked arrogance before. History will judge Bush & co. very badly.
Reps. have made a great road map for the Dems to follow in '08. Let's see, the Dems will fire con judges, revoke all anit-privacy legislation, and bring the troops home.
Yes its time to help our Shiite freinds in Iraq! Get Bush and all the Kuwaiti and Sauldi contractors the fuck out! The fact that the congress has not impeached Bush for profiteering with Sauldi oil. Proves they are guilty to!
Wait a second ... Bush sticks his neck on the press chopping block and Obama hides behind Bambi in the Headlights Robert Gibbs? Obama is a pantywaist.

He didnt keep us informed to shit. ive never seen one damn interview where even answers a question head on. he just walks around it like a elementary school kid who didnt read the book for his report. as for 9/11 i wont even get into that but why dont you go watch a movie called "zeitgeist" on google video, its free and full of answers on 9/11 and the liar that is Bush.
vocalcoversareus 2 years ago
I wont watch that video because its propeganda formed by the liberal media. people are still blaming bush for OBAMAS mistakes even now. its getting to be old news at this point. i dont care what the video says, 9/11 was caused by terrorists who wanted us to die. akll of those theories are a waste of time. thank you.
Klloud1 2 years ago
you wont watch the video because its questioning what you believe in. ive looked at both cases and the facts go toward that 9/11 was an inside job in order to get over seas and start this unneceassry killing. I have all the respect in the world for the people that suffered through it and died, they aren't to blame. its the corrupt world we live in thats to blame and Bush is apart of it. And by the way, everything that Bush has given for 9/11 could easily just be propaganda formed by republicans.
vocalcoversareus 2 years ago

Seriously? He was still convicted, he still had to pay the $250,000 fine, and he still has 2 years of parole. Could you just shrug that off and say no big deal?
Sheatwole 4 years ago
If I was operating at the level that Libby is, sure I could. Anyone in this country, who did what he did would be enjoying a nice prison term. But Bush pardons him, displaying that the rule of law means nothing concerning his friends.
redfistaor 4 years ago
Do you people not understand the difference between a pardon and a commuted sentence? A pardon is basically wiping clean the slate. Never happened. A commuted sentence, which is what libby got, means he was still convicted, still has probation and still has fines.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
I understand the difference. Probation is nothing, care urself straight and stay out of trouble. Fines? Libby is an lawyer and they do rather well, plus a GM-15 makes around 175K a year, I am sure he can handle it. He cant practice law again or head a corp. so what. He is in his late 50s be can retire. I feel no pity for him and have no respect for Bush.
redfistaor 4 years ago

redfistaor 4 years ago
At least you understand. However, think about it. He is now a convicted felon. He can't vote, purchase a handgun or practice law anymore. Plus a $250,000 fine is a big chunk of change to nearly anyone. And for what? Because he wouldnt snitch on somebody. It was a political witchhunt and libby took the fall for it.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
And let me ask you this... Did you have any respect for Clinton?
Sheatwole 4 years ago
I respected the man´s politics, but not his morals. Then again the hallmark of a great politican is they all lie. But why does it always boil down to this or that, if you dislike bush, you are a clinton lovin tree huggin, hacky sack playing liberal. If you like bush you are a war mongering, oil drinkin cowboy. not helpful.
redfistaor 4 years ago
Because every idiot I've ever talked to about bush goes right to clinton. Clinton did this and that, blah blah blah. So, for example, I hear people rag bush about an "alleged" incident of cocaine use. I bring up the fact clinton has overdosed on cocaine on several occasions... then they get mad and usually call me a fucker or something. I love the double standard.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
But why does there have to be the contrast, why cant bush stand alone for what he does, he has to be compaired to the last president. clinton was 7 years ago...get over it already. bush has fooked up plenty that he needs to be compaired to the other loser in class..."hey mom I got a D in math"..."damn son...." "mom its ok, cause this kids bill be got cheating and fingerbanging the fat chick during the test, so I did just fine". Sad
redfistaor 4 years ago
Okay fine.... please explain this then: Why do you liberals hate bush so much? Is it because he's not the best speaker? Because he pardons people and commutes sentences (like every other president in history has done)? Because he engaged in a war that was voted for by damn near every democratic senator and most of congress? What?
Sheatwole 4 years ago
Why hate Bush? Its not so much that I hate Bush, its just that I hate what this administration has done on almost every level: the Patriot Act, the Imperialist War-Mongering, torture, lies, every where you turn its just plain evil. The democrats are no better. Clinton was a liar and murderer, too. In fact, Clinton was making money by allowing the Bush drug cartel (CIA) to run drugs through Mena, Arkansas while he was governer.
01keef 4 years ago
"the Bush drug cartel (CIA) to run drugs through Mena, Arkansas while he was governer." That says alot about the sitting (bulldog) prez...what's more important-what Clinton did then or what your Prez is doing now, which by the way makes his druggin' days look like sainthood.
Powitree 4 years ago
Powitree, why ask which is more important when one thing leads to another? I don't care so much about George W. using drugs-- its the Bush family/CIA mobster drug running that I think is a problem-- a huge problem even today. Its a big part of why we are in Afganistan--the opium/herion production has increased incredibly, google it. American troops guarding poppy fields, wow. BTW, George Bush Sr.'s nickname? Poppy.
01keef 4 years ago
01keef, I didn't say anything about G.W. Bush "using" drugs-although it wouldn't surprise me. You are correct in your concerns. I love google. ;-)
Powitree 4 years ago
Maybe a better question is why are you defending the man? What has be done that is so wonderful for America? Response to 9/11? If you find that as a reason to embrace him as a hero...then that shows a natural human response to cling to those who share like status (us against them). Bush has got us in needless war (Iraq) a overdrawn war(Afghan), still hasnt caught Bin Laden, destroyed civil liberties and habus corpus. Yet to continue to take up for him.
redfistaor 4 years ago

01keef 4 years ago
Also not true. Since the democrats became the majority last year, they've continually done everything they could to destroy the bush administration and their credibility. And the media? Are you serious? They're in the same boat with congress...

manny4life 4 years ago
hey manny... check out the list of people clinton pardoned... drug dealers, rapists... real criminals. I don't wanna hear about disgraceful and immoral.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
i never said clinton was justified for doing it dude...i'm just commenting on how hypocritical THIS administration is.
manny4life 4 years ago
Understood. However, you can't talk about someone being disgraceful and immoral without talking about clinton. You're calling president bush immoral because he commuted libbys sentence? He wasnt a coke dealer, human trafficker or a theif like clintons pardons. He was a public servant who took the fall for a government witchhunt.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
i can talk about that because he interfered with a jury's verdict, a free pass for someone found guilty. any president who does that does not deserve respect.
manny4life 4 years ago
Not true. He didnt interfere with the verdict. He commuted the sentencing. He still has a conviction on his name, a $250,000 fine to pay, and 2 years of probation to serve out. A commuted sentence is not to much to ask for a public servant who served as long as libby did.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
Furthermore... If you had worked for a president for a number of years, and then one day you were brought on charges for lying about who leaked this, you would expect a little leniency from your boss (the president), and you can't say you wouldn't. Personally, I think he deserved a full pardon.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
dude... it really does not matter how long you serve the president, a jury finds you guilty, you serve whatever punishment they give you. they gave libby a 2-year sentence and for bush to just step in and say "its too harsh" is mind boggling, and dishonorable. stick to running the country and stop getting your aides out of jail time.
manny4life 4 years ago
I don't believe that for a second.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
why is that so hard to believe?
manny4life 4 years ago
Well first off... the only reason libby was brought up on charges and convicted in the first place was because he was a senior advisor in bush's cabinet. If scooter libby had been in clintons cabinet, he would never have been charged in the first place.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
And secondly, the prosecutor knew all along Richard Armitage had leaked Nancy Plames CIA status to the media. Scooter Libby wouldn't reveal this to Fitzgerald, and he was subsequently brought up on charges not even relating to the case. So in short, Libby was convicted of not being a snitch.
Sheatwole 4 years ago
So, if you were convicted of something on that level of ridiculousness, you're going to tell me that you wouldnt expect a bit of leniency? You wouldnt expect the president to help out his people, who are being targeted for being associated with him?
Sheatwole 4 years ago
I can only hope that one day as the "decider" he will relize that he is responcable for all the people he apoints' actions. That the accountability falls on his shoulders. Thou I see Bush as a fake indavidual who just says crap that to keep us mocking him to keep our attention on how horrable he is and not take action.

There's no evidence whatsoever that he said that, by the way, it's pretty much a joke that caught on because it's just the kind of thing he would say.

No he really said that. Like when he asked the leader of Brazil if they had black people too. He's a hayseed. Seriously.

Is Bush for real? He said Libby was guilty. Then Bush pardons the guy and says it was deliberate.

An embarrassment to the United States. I can't believe the person running our country can't even answer a question.

He's a clever person with his decisions. He may not reply to questions that well but u can tell he is thinking of his answer to it.
