Reason why Krait is the best are the buttons, i testet over 15 different gaming mice, krait has the best/fastest left right click buttons i´ve ever seen
thats true i cant play with 2000 dpi or more i am owning with 1800 on my DA Respawn =] which can be 3500 and i own lachesis with 4000 dpi and i dont know why they but so much dpi ... noone can play with that but after all fuck it :D
to all the people dissin the krait. fuck you guys. the krait was released by razer 6 years ago and it was a breakthrough in gaming mice technology. the best rts mouse and i still use it up till this day, sure the rubber coating on the buttons are torn and stuff but it still performs. its a classic mouse from razer and if you hate this mouse,it just means that u dont know its history and u are new to the gaming mice world
@AhmadStpats Oh you are so right. Mice like the Krait and the Diamondback are what laid the foundation for all the mice you see nowadays. So don't go dissing the krait cause it has low DPI. Your mum has low DPI.
@zulrivers it definately feels conventional , but for me that is a plus. better than lachesis/boomslangs or other mice that are designed to look pretty, not thinking much about comfort. also the 5$ mouse doesnt have the awesome 1600dpi optical sensor, nor the superb response buttons.
@valdezapg - One of the best mice I have ever (and still) been able to use. Took me to the top of the leaderboard in C&C3 and also owned in CoD4 and 5. If they made a Krait wireless, it would be the only mouse I ever used. Period.
@1980KNIGHTRIDER so,if u have 5600 dpi what?set your mouse to 5600 dpi and when u move the mouse u turn at 1400 degrees :/ . 1200-1600-2000 dpi are decent dpi's,no1 plays with more.
@1980KNIGHTRIDER lol you prolly dont even have the driver to kick it up to 5600 and even if you did youd couldnt control it 5600 dpi is far too sensitive noone plays on that high
ask for a 7 day money back guarantee if you want to try it out. so if you dont like it you can return it and get money back. its a palm grip mouse and i am a fingertip grip player, so to me the mouse was too big, which made my aim sluggish, and the glossy sides in combination with the shape made my hand tense up and hurt after a while. so it really depends of what kind of player you are.
Never buy Second-hand products which is Razer. The biggest problem is, that Razer mices don't last longer than 1 year. And taking any mice from them without the 2 year waranty is very risky.
And it's really depends on the way with which you hold your mouse. I'm fingergrip user, it was very uncomfortable to hold Razer Deathadder for me, but i loved this mouse because of it 1000Hz polling rate, and perfect sensor which doesn't have Drift control aka mouse predictions.
Better go for Logitech MX518. Very comfortable mouse, it is very awesome also. It has similar sensor with Deathadder. Deathadder's sensor is infrared, MX518's sensor isn't.
But you should take to the account, that Logitech MX518 has drift control, Deathadder doesn't. But Logitech MX518 is much comfortable, Deathadder isn't.
And DA's mousefeet looks much faster for me, than MX518's. But i'm playing on Logitech MX518 now, and this mouse feels perfect for me. Much better than DA.
Is the lachesis better than this? I've been reading everywhere lachesis is the best, but i'm torn between the choices of razer mouse, some help please? :D
the lachesis has a very wide, flat front which makes it a really awkward mouse to hold, thus making it the perfect mouse for a small minority of gamers, also there have been numerous complaints of lachesis' that start to fail over timein various ways, u can read up on that, so assume that if u get a lachesis, there's only a 35% chance that it'll live over a year, no if you can get over this then u should get it, i did and i didn't like both reasons of it sucking, specifically the first
i use usbhack to increase the pooling rate. it works at 920~ something hz which is very close to salmosa. plus kraits sensor has way less prediction and therefore is more precise compared to salmosa.

why do i have the idea that mine doesn't glow as much?
Skooligan 2 years ago
because video cameras and human eyes work differently and when you film light it doesn't look the same way if you just saw it with your eyes.
valdezapg 2 years ago
@valdezapg that was my guess as well.
I guess I can't have a fair comparison if I don't see one in real life.
I've had this mouse for 10 months now, it's a really good mouse I have to say.
One friend of mine sells his Deathadder 1800DPI for 25 euros, should I hit it?
