You should be avoid calling others ignorant. First, a more regressive tax code does not cause higher welfare or TANF payments. Second, it's an "income" tax on marginal dollars earned, so no one pays so much in taxes that they can't pay taxes. Third, Bush 43 doubled the size of the deficit to pay for tax cuts for the rich. The working class didn't benefit, but you'd have them help pay back the $35000 per capita in national debt? My family is wealthy. Higher taxes won't change that.
