  • Wow, incredible! I've never heard of these people. Thanks for the education!

  • Очень удивилась такому поясняющему тексту- Hutsuls are Ukrainian highlanders who for centuries have inhabited the Carpathian mountains in Ukraine (former polish territories), in Romania, Slovakia and Poland.

  • IF I BY A RUSSIAN WATCH ME AS AN BLACK PEOPLE ...IM NOT BECOME RUSSIAN,@GORDON FREE MANNESS/ DA "AND ANATHER 3 SLAVIC WORDS IT IS IN ROMANIAN ALFABET. THEY USED TO SAY AHA=DA,BEFORE,...AHA is da

  • anyway, what I wanted to say is that these people are indigenous to these lands... and should not be lied to by rusky nationalists...

  • @unomnacajit11 these people are native and what language do they speak? Romanian?

  • @martpast1 Hutsul "language" is in fact a dialect of Ukrainian language. It is, however, greatly influenced by Romanian language.

  • @GordonFreeMANness i know. i only try to show Romanians that people can have some similar customs and culture but they are not Romanians. huculs are influenced a little in some Romanian words but all this region also in Poland and Slovakia has common elements. though they speak own language. though different from people from plains. also Romanians have some Slavonic words--they say "DA" for "yes". but is this a proof that they are Russians?

  • @GordonFreeMANness in Caucass many people dance "lezginka" and eat "shashlik"--but are they all Georgians or Lezgins? and they also have "kinzhals"=short swords and fur hats. and many same words--they live very near.

    .

  • @martpast1 Georgians? Lezgins? There are 14 nationalities only in Dagestan. They could be any of those.

  • Hutsuls are descendants of "free" Dacians

Pozdrawiam siostry i braci huculskich. huculpeter

  • @hycyl Witaj Huculski Bacie, mam nadzieje wreszcie dojechać na ziemie ojców UKOCHANĄ HUCULSZCZYZNE. POZDRAWIAM SIOSTRY I BRACI. HUCULPETER

  • @balazz1 pozdrawiam Cię serdecznie HYCYL.

  • Pozdrowienia dla Hucułki Halinki

  • Pozdrowienia dla Hucułki Halinki

  • so are the Huculs Ukrainians? or just Huculs ? :) there were once Huculs, Lemkos, Ruthenians, and now they are Ukrainians? You like being incorporated into some artificial nation?

  • @H2HSnake

To know better you have to study Ukrainian history.

Then you will understand who are Huculs, Lemkos, Boykos and others.

  • @H2HSnake so ARE Gorals POLISH or just Gorals? there were once kASHUBS, Goorale, Pomorzanie so on--and now they are Polish?U LIKE being incorporated into artificial nation?

  • @ioanpena Dacian--may be. Dacs were before Romans and fought against them. were assimilated though.

  • @ioanpena I would like very much to believe you but I think the Hucul themselves would laugh to hear this

  • I'm Hutzul's woman.))))))))

It's so beautiful to see my tradition, thank you.

I love so much this music! in my Grandfather's house music groop used to practice music before the go to play.

It was so happy time for us children))))))!

    THANK YOU!

  • They are from the Carpathians but i doubt that they are pure now. They have influences in theyr language. The romanian ones speak a funny romanian accent, the elders call it chocked as they don't pronounce some vowls. A treditional dance inherited from them is called Hutulca, there are many vids.

    Great music.

  • SLAVIC POWER !

  • What is the name of this group? This song and dance are still sung by some Argentinians of Ukrainian origin.

    Greetings

  • @cristivladescu2 its similar music--but language?

  • @martpast1 Sorry I'm not crazy, not nationalist, to respect the traditions of a country I know, I said that no Ukrainian roots are Romanian, the language in which I played is unknown to me, may be Ukrainian. But if I sing a song in English does not mean that I'm English. I have not offended anyone, please Ukrainians who know how to offend by PM to reconsider my message.

  • @cristivladescu2 DID i call U crazy? or nationalist? Ukrainians have similar music on the border. may be it sounds for U like Romanian but its just similar.

  • @martpast1 Study the History of Europe since the Neolithic and you'll know why the area between KIEV, Lake Balaton (Hungary), Macedonia and SOFIA have very similar traditions, costumes and folklore. They were all Thracians taken over by Romans and then (some) by slavs and magyars.

  • @unomnacajit11why they were all Tracians?

  • @unomnacajit11 i mean--how happened that they speak not old language but of Slavs? Irish still have a bit of Irish.

  • @martpast1 When your life depends on the language you speak, you'll change it. After the Roman invasion the thracians were never organized as a state again, except for very brief periods and divided into small groups. So they could not defend themselves against migratory tribes. Hence in most parts natives had to adapt and speak the ruler's language, just like inhabitants of panonnia adopted hungarian, like US immigrants adopted english, or like native americans adopted spanish, portuguese, etc

  • @unomnacajit11 yes ,but they were not ruled. Rus state appeared too late and this region , in the mountains, was too far and in between.

  • @unomnacajit11 also--there are no proofs that Slavs at all migrated in this region. they migrated to Balkans and mixed with local people. -Serbs and White Horvats. but there they only could mixed with local somebody so far ago that this somebody had no signs of different language and culture. this common culture of near Romania is because ? may be , there were no borders so they were connected by trade and so on.

  • @martpast1 you should study some european history in non-biased countries, e.g. UK ... A cat accidentally stepping on a computer keyboard could upload an article on Wikipedia, it's really not a reliable source ... peace...

  • @unomnacajit11 what is your reliable source ?

  • @martpast1 my oxford uni euro-history phd housemate... stop bashing romanians... the first civilization in europe developed in romania, moldova and southern ukraine. the thracians evolved from it. Linguistic studies show that their language was somewhere between greek and latin, they were entirely romanized when the migrations began, and unfortunately except for Ro & Md they and a few places in Ukrainem Hungary, and the balkans, all were assimilated by slavs and magyars.

  • @martpast1 if you want to study Eastern European history you should start with the Cucuteni civilization and compare their symbols and today's symbols used in the Balkans, like the ying-yang sign(which also appeared in China after 2000 years). There's no way anyone could argue slavs came to europe wearing with the same traditions, customs, pre-christianity symbols, dances and clothes that can be found on Roman and Thracian coins, monuments, etc try this : watch?v=NvSDR6oYXAQ&feature=related

  • @unomnacajit11 here is important question for me--please, tell me, dear expert, from where have Slavs come? if they come at all

  • @martpast1 What the Soviet propaganda books don't say about slav migrations is that they had to come through places where during the last Ice age there was only Ice... The only habitable areas of europe were south of the Kiev-Cracow line, so they were definitely not living where they say their home might be. Slavs came from the east, nobody know where from, since they left no definite clues... The migration happened over thousands of years, and for some reason accelerated after the 6th century

  • Slava !

  • An example of Polish misrepresentation of Ukrainian history, which continues to this day. Hutsuls have never influenced by Poland and have always hated Polish colonization and economic exploitation. Hutsuls were always independent and loved their ancient customs and traditions, which pre-date Poland by centuries. Bagnowka 7 is nothing but Polish Bagno. He stinks. All hutsuls identify as Ukrainians. Some Lemkos were polonized, but this never happened to hutsuls.

  • @375015568

    IT IS TRUTH!

My Grandparens and all Hutsuls are very Ukrainian ALWAYS. Poland for us was as Russia.. they always try to take our country and our culthure.

  • @Kalyna777 so Your grandparents were in UPA then?

  • @H2HSnake

    some of them yes.

    why? ..

  • @H2HSnake Yet in Canada I stand as Hutzul from My Grandparents who came here in 1912. At that time it was Austrain rule and I know from the breath I breath I am Hutzul. What do you mean by (just) hutzuls?

  • A lot of Hutsuls identify as Ukrainians. I´m descendant of Hutsul immigrants that came to Argentina in 1897 and already in that time they identified themselves as Ukrainians and alsocalled by Polish immigrants that settlemented in the same region from Argentina Ukrainians.

  • hutsuls are very slavic, anyway. they may be costoboci to a certain degree, and have also some celtic and even germanic influences from ancient times, but the slavic influence is huge. huge, even if we'd speek only about dna

  • @nordastelo so-who are they?

  • Interesting!

  • Pomysl dobry. Wspolne koncerty Orkiestry i kapeli Kumlyka rowniez byli swietne.

  • uzupełnię ten opis przy podpisie przy filmie

    pzdr

    tomek

  • Natalenko. Przepraszam. Już uzupełniam na stronie w opisie. Tomek

  • not bad, but some pictures weren`t Huculian :)

  • nobody is perfect. tomek - bagnowka7

  • Yes, let's talk about Polish occupation of the hutsul lands, polonization, and economic exploitation! Let's have no more of any Polish claims and pretentions to Ukraine. All that is nothing but Polish fantasy, based on false and distorted historical facts, written by Poland. Ukrainians reject all Polish claims to Ukraine! Ukrainians reject Polish history of Ukraine. Poland should concern itself with Poland, and visit Ukraine as tourists only!

  • @375015568

    You are right! Thank you.

  • jest też uroczy ;)

  • Moj ruskij ocien plochyj. "Slawa Ukraini!" OK. No ja dumaju, czto tieper niet wajny... Bagnowka7

  • JA OBOJNYUJY Hyzyliv!! :)) SYPER Video =)) MOLODEC

  • All the best to all Maramures. Tomek

  • WONDERFUL!! I am Argentinian, and in part descendant of Ukrainian and Polish immigrants. A lot of Ukrainian immigrants that came to Argentina were from Hutsulshchyna. My grandmother told me about Hutsuls and taught me some words in Hutsul dialect.

    Excellent work!

    Greetings from Argentina

  • Huculs are close to gorals. But gorals are roman catholic, but huculs highlanders are greek catholic. tomek

  • Nice one.

I had no idea about Huculs before. Now I will find something more about these people.

    Are Huculs same as Gorals???

Greetings to all Huculs from Slovakia.
