  • i use that...but im 12 and i dont need it..i wear it for special occasions

  • @AcneGuy Well for me, it took me less than a week to see the difference of my acne.. I had also eczema and was completely cleared.. It was totally amazing.. Thanks to the acne solution site StopAcneNow.co.cc

  • I hate that mascara too. Everyone thinks its sooo great!!! I think its the worst Loreal/Maybelline mascara ever to be made!!

  • I hate that mascara too. Everyone thinks its sooo great!!! I think its the worst Loreal/Maybelline mascara ever to be mad!!

  • i actually love the smell of tea tree oil! If you light a candle underneathe some teatree oil it cleans the room out of bacteria! A lot of housekeepers burn teatree and orange oil in incense while they're cleaning!

  • I think I'm allergic to the Clean and Clear stuff but I use the 3 step Clearisil system and it works really well. I happened to go to a huge mall last May for a graduation and we got stopped by a guy at a stand in the mall. It was for some expensive facial peel treatment. I thought it was a useless as I have sensitive skin but it is amazing! It's called Attitude Organic Treatment Cucmber Peel. Use it once a week and it is definately worth the money. =]

  • i used to use that clean and clear face wash before i had acne and loved it! my skin was never oily and i didn't have pimples. but once i developed acne, it didn't help so i had to switch. also, i think whenever you suddenly switch face wash you get oily/break out (at least i do) and it takes a few weeks for it to start working.

  • TEA TREE OIL also works for me! its a lot more gentle to your skin that alcohol and it kills like 3000 times more germs. no kidding! there are studies about that!

but be careful because maybe you'll react alergic to it! if you don't, good for you :)

but it does stink like hell!! so you should only use this at night :D

  • I usally always break out with clean and clear :P

    i dont like it :)

  • I didn't like that mascara either! I wonder why it has such great reviews. But i do really like Loreal's Voluminous Mascara.

  • Australia has all the best products ;D

  • I have long thick eyelashes and I LOVE the great lash mascara. maybe you just have to have lashes for it to work..??

  • yeah, i use tea tree oil to help my mosquito bites and it works instantly. :D

  • the tea tree oil is a miracle product.... it does smell, but it workssss!!!

my mom worked for a company called 'melaleuca' . all their products are tea tree oil. My dog had really bad skin irriation, and we used the tea tree oil on him and he was all better! :)

my little brother had scrapes... and the tea tree oil helped heal it faster! hahah

  • Same here. Clean and clear made me breakout too. But I was reading up on the internet, and someone use nartual Honey. So I gave it a try. In three days my acne was GONE!! No joke. All you do is remove ur makeup, wash ur fash with warm water, cover ur face with honey and leave on for 10 min., wash off the honey with warm water, then close ur pores with cold water. It works really well. Just make sure the honey is 100% natural!!!

  • the mascara was the first mascara that i used and i didt realy mind i just wanted the blackness on my lashes but as i started to experement with mascara i found out how bad it actualy was:) My friend uses it now and for some reason she absalutly loves it? i dont no why she mxes it with 3 diffrent mascaras and it gets realy clumpy and smudges i try to tell her how bad the mascara is but she just wont listen:) just thought it point that out, lol

  • Wow :)

That has really helped me :D Do you have any suggestions how to get rid of blackhead ? They really do my head in !

    Thanks again :)

  • WOW! O___O

Thank you for sharing that! Please don't stop sharing what works and what DOESN'T! Very helpful. I seem to breakout with Clean and Clear. Just weird.

    Thanks again!

  • LOL stubby short nothings

  • A lot of the beauty gurus like Michelle Phan all hate that Great lash stuff.

  • My acne went away when I stopped eating all dairy products. No dairy. That was my answer.

Great sources of calcium are oranges, almonds, sesame seeds and Broccoli.

  • so u dont drink milk to get rid of acne?? dayummm....cuz i drink milk at least 2 times a day, thats why i disgusting acne on my bak :S

and dont u get lots of calcium from milk?? [a dairy product]?

and thanx for the list of great sources of calcium

  • what causes acne for someone will be different for someone else. could try though

  • put both of your hands on your chest and think abt your crush/bf and tomoro he will either kiss you,say i love you, or ask u out but u must put this message on five other vids good luk

  • there is a simple solution to your acne

you should get a perscription from your doctor

  • hahaha i think that maybe you broke out because you were wearig makeup in hawaii. i love you and always watch your videos but i dont understand why you need foundation in hawaii....plus if you dont have the right product to remove it of course youre going to break out!

  • i hate clean and clear 2 ! i broke out so bad w/ it

  • It probably got all oily and acne, because its like and all of a sudden product change

  • yeah that happened to me with clean n clear 2! i will never use their products again :(

  • lol you are so angry in this video

  • have you ever been told you look like Jessica Alba? Te face shape, the lips, a little of the nose and the voice definitely!!

  • uuugh! i hate clean and clear!

that happened the same thing to me too! :(

but, you have so many good tips.

i love every single one of your videos! haah.

  • all the clean and clear producs are a wast of money, they never work!

  • Oh yeah, I know. Great Lash is soo bad. It flaked off under my eyes. And it didn't do anything for my lashes except make them clumpy. So yeah. Don't buy it. I also wanted to say that Acne Free is a great acne system. And Olay Foaming Facial Cleanser is great for removing makeup. Love the videos! Keep it up! =D

  • Yes, you ARE supposed to dilute the tea tree oil. If any of you ppl live in Europe, U.K maybe.....take a walk into Superdrug and you´ll see that you can buy 2 types of tea tree, one diluted and one pure. I bought the diluted one and I recommend it too. But I start using it the very day I feel something is about to pop out on the skin, meaning....even before tha white spot starts to show.

Thanks for the info pursebuzz, you´re doing a great job!

  • i would highly reccomend mario bedescu cleanser, it works amazinly, and takes off all makeup:)

  • everything's more expensive in hawaii since it's a huge tourist spot and plus think of the shipping fee to get stuff there! i think clean and clear is okay, although i have to say if it's a cream cleanser and your skin isn't very dry like mine, i wouldn't be surprised at all if you broke out all over your face. just because it didn't work for her doesn't mean it wouldn't work for you. but overall tho, for me, clean and clear -ehhhh. good sensation at first in the shower...but later.soso results.

  • it's funny, because i use clean and clear blackhead eraser cleanser and that clean and clear soft mask thingy and it works really well for me.

  • Oh my goodness, you are supposed to dilute tea tree oil before you use it! OUCH!

  • That is the WORST mascara! I tried my moms and I was really confused because I thought everyone was supposed to LOVE it. My mom threw it away really soon afterward. It's not even worth it if you run out of mascara and you use it as a substitute. Hate it hate it hate it!

  • i just think all the clean and clear arent that great

  • what is she saying at 0:31? it was like cleeegree

  • it was clean and clear i think

  • I love the scent of tea tree oil, but ---aren't you supposed to dilute it?

  • i agree with you about the mascara. i use Loreal Double Extend Tube Mascara and i think it works great! makes my lashes longer and thicker and it actually comes off in little tubes.

  • $9 for that? Haha, I'd be so mad that it didn't work. :D

  • yea alot of things are expensive in Hawaii

  • I used to use tea tree oil for everything when I was going through my high school breakout days and it worked so well. It dries it out a bit and takes away the redness of the blemish. My grandma actually suggested this because you can use tea tree oil for different uses like stomach aches, tooth aches, rashes, its like a chinese remedy or something, but its great that you included that! I thought i was the only person on earth that knew of it! hahaa

  • i used to use that cleanser like in middle school haha. now i use clinique 3 toner, bare minerals moisturizer, clearsil spot treatment cuz i breakout on my forehead... still looking for a good cleanser!! gonna try a free sample of mild clinique..is it good?

  • the same thing happened to me! thanks for sharing. i was thinking it was just me but i guess not!

  • thanks for the video!!!I have spot problems myself and was looking for a good product, now i know whta not to use! Thanks again!!

  • what lipstick are you wearing??

  • one word: minocyclene

  • I Have horrible skin. I have a really long regimen too. If i didn't do everything i do, it would be awful.

    I clean with a cleanser,

    apricot scrub

    clean and clear blackhead cleanser

    astringent

    moisturizer

    zapzyt cream

    and repeat in the morning

  • I use there active clear foaming cleaser, oil controling toner, cleansing wipes some times, speed clearing gel and oil free skin balancing moisturiser and there fine for me. But i think your find that your break out if you don't tone and sometimes if you don't remove your make up befor useing it.

  • omg my skin was like crystal clear, but i wanted to use that duac cream just once to see if i could use it instead of taking the pill all the time. and wohoo i wake up this morning with a bright red face with a rash all over it. Im just so lucky. sigh.

  • What type of skin do you have?

  • you know what sucks for me?

my skin is really sensitive so i think im allergic to benzoyl peroxide T_T

    i use clinique type 3 . i like it

  • omg, ME TOO!!!!

I really have no idea how to get rid of my acne : (

  • great lash is awful lol i dont get what all the buzz is about honestly

  • i agree its complete crap so dry

  • I need to listen to this.

Because i have pounds of acne!

  • Clean and clear never really did anything for me. Nothing bad, nothing amazing.

The clean and clearfor nite tho is a different story.

    It worked pretty well.

  • actually Clean and Clear works pretty well for me. That is not the wash that I use though, but all skin is different. I have oily skin and it is very effective for me in clearing up my acne. just me though. :)

  • true, yea I just started using the clean and clear 3 step system, i got it for christmas, and its already working

  • I hate Clean & Clear. It made my whole face peel.

However, I have pretty long lashes, so the Great Lash works really well for me. But I apply the Great Lash primer before I apply it, so maybe that is what helps it coat better. I don't know.

    Love your vids!

  • i recently bought the mac prep/primer & studio fix fluid NC35 & it actually makes my face suuuper soft and clear after washing it off at night. most ppl think wearing the mac fluid concealer is bad for your pores, but for some reason it has been improving my complexion. I have oily skin, so i think that the mac products soak up the excess oil on my face.

  • the same thing happened to me when I used Clean and Clear

  • Tee tree oil really does stink unbelievably. It helps on individual spots though. If the whole face has broken out though, I still haven't found a cure. And tee tree oil all over makes my eyes water like mad.

And I cannot believe you don't like the Maybelline mascara. I use it for over a year now and LOOOVE it. Probably depends on the lashes though. Never had any smudges with it ever (am wearing contacts) - tried some lancome ones b4 and they smudge like no tomorrow!!

  • hey, if you need something to clear your acne, try benzoyl peroxide......i think you can get it at any drug store, i got mine at CVS pharmacy. mine came in a tube and it works pretty well. A white head appeared on my nose yesterday and i applied the the stuff last night and it pretty much disappeared, well every face is different but it works well for me

  • same reaction! clean and clear is not my cup of tea.

  • omg i dont dare use clean and clear lol, i have some acne and i use proactive and it prevents those big pimples but i have some of those marks like..it shows that i HAD acne, and if i skip proactive for like a day, i get a pimple.

is there anything you guys suggest??

  • i use that but just in the shower after i use a mask and in just kind of refreshing but i also like clean & clears foamy make up remover stuff and i take my make up off in the shower at night because the shower head just gets water all over you face and you can always use a little make up remover after wards if you didnt get it all off

  • i use a tea tree oil blemish stick and it is amazing! it comes in like a lipstick form and it is a green color. it works really fast and mine doesn't smell at all =)

  • Great video what i use that has really helped my acne is the neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub i tried the tea tree oil but that just dried out my skin and never got rid of the pimples :0

  • gah i dont like clean and clear!!!!!

  • OMG!! thats happend to me 2!

  • Best drugstore mascaras are Max Factor and CoverGirl Lash Blast. (Lash Blast is the cheaper version of MAC's Plush Lash).

  • my sisters used clean & clear and broke out like crazy!

  • Dermalogica facial cleanser is the best. A little expensive but that's the price for clean and healthy skin. Dermalogica products in general are great.

  • WOOOOOOOO AUSTRALIA! :P

yeh i hav that mascara, and its pretty dodgy

it takes ages to dry, so its like putting paint on ur eyelashes and you can only really put one layer or it will smudge EVERYWHERE

but yeh its ok 4 me coz i got long eyelashes...

thanks for the teatree oil thing, ill try it

  • you know with the mascara, that one is really great, buy uou have to get great lash volume mascara, not the regular one, walgreens has a few in store, trust me i was a beauty advisor.

  • When You use make up with acné skin, you have to wear non comedogene make up... Also wash your face with non comedogene stuff... Clinique and stuff isn't good for acné skin... REALLY... Things like dermalogica and couvrance are then the best thing.. x

  • hmmmm.

i have that mascara and i loveee it.

but i have the water-proof (it doesn't smear like at all.)

and i guess i already have kinda long eyelashes.

oh and thanks! i almost bought that clean and clear stuff the other day but i didn't cause a lot of my friends have broken out using clean and clear too.

  • i totally have that clean and clear stuff! it works really well it makes your face feel fresh and energizingly clean haha

  • I've never liked that cleanser either! I even bought it twice over the years because it felt so good and it said it was a "deep action" cleanser, but it isn't. Wouldn't even take my make-up off. I use Clean & Clear still, but it's "Morning Burst" and it isn't a cream. Takes all my make-up off and keeps me from getting those 2 or 3 monthly pimples.

Also, there are shampoo's infused with Tea Tree Oil for dandruff and it is supposed to work wonders. :)

  • Thanks for having this video review. This helps me a lot for future references. I use to wash my face with that clean and clear stuff but I never liked it, now I'm just using something the dermatologist prescribed me to. Oh-and the mascara, I've always considered about buying that same one because it's "the number 1 mascara", and it's cheap. Well I'm Asian too and I myself have short thin lashes, so because of this video, I will not go out and buy it! Thank you!!

  • my mom uses that mascara...

  • Great Lash didn't work for me either. It takes forever to dry.

  • i love tea tree oil, i put it all over my face at night, but you have to watch out for the really cheap ones, tea tree oil should be oily/liquidy, i just got some from super drug mart and it is more like a gell, i don't like it, it seems to work okay but it's very thick and castor oil like. so if use tea tree oil make sure it's a really good quality from melaleauca or the body shop, even wal mart is okay but make sure you try it out on your hand before you waste your money.

  • i hate that mascara too

  • I've found that velocity acne stuff from Mary Kay surprisingly, it works wonders, and also the acne stuff thats made my mary kay too. It doesn't smell bad at all!

  • i just bought the tea tree oil from walmart and it was like $5.98 but for some reason i couldn't find the Eucerin soap? probably because the walmart by me are under construction to turn it into a superwalmart. anyway, i hope this works! if it does, i'll definetly respond back. btw, my skin broke up because of the clean & clear... same product that you used in hawaii. how... freking lame. it's all over my CHIN! :(

  • i think the mascara is number one best selling cause girls like the colors!! i almost bought it but my sister told me not to she is like my own personal make up guru she is a genius she taught me evrything i kno and she is still teaching me

  • aha so it is my clean and clear that is making me break out more.

  • Shoot It Take Years Fo Perfect Skin

Its Not Dat Easy..Usin Dem Skin Care

Barely Werks..Most Of Dem R Rip Off!

    Like No Joke..Lik Proactiv..Sumtime

Werks Den It Doesnt...Stupid I Tell Ya

  • That mascara may not be so great, but I had the same problem with trying to find a nice one.

One would be too clumpy, another you could barely see on your lashes.

But I've been using Maybelline Full and Soft waterproof mascara, and it is great! I have been using it for a couple of years now probably. Thats my recommendation.

  • love the videos! you kinda looked like jessica alba in that video lol! I WANT YOUR HAIR!!

  • I bought that grate lash thing and it really sucks!! I used it once and I hated it . . .

  • after I wash my face, I swipe everywhere except my eyes with an Oxy pad (2 %) salycilic acid, and then use a light oil-free moisturizer. That alone usually keeps my face clear, but when I do break out I use any 10% benzoyl peroxide cream (very thin layer just over the trouble area) at night and it's gone in 2 days. I've followed this routine for a year and I haven't had clearer skin since I was 11.

  • Maybelline great lash is perfect for my eyelashes :) I think it does depend on your eyelash length. All the other mascaras I have tried from drug stores sucked. I even bought a few mac ones, but they always clump up my eyelashes. I think it has a lot to do with the dispenser, because I notice the brush filled with mascara and I often have to wipe off most of it to get nice, separated eyelashes.

  • tea tree oil i mean

  • tea tree smells so bad and it doesnt work i tried it! its horrible and its posinous to dogs and other animals! dont use it

  • that stuff is AWESOME!!!! it works so well!!

  • uh, you're not kidding about that mascara. I tried it as well a while back and could not believe that that's what all the professional makeup artists were raving about. it SUCKS! by contrast there are a few drugstore brands that are just as good the more expensive ones. I personally love Max Factor 2000 calories. it is comparable to make fiber... whatever you call it. Milani also has a similar one which looks good but I haven't tried it yet.

  • Ouch, two slams on the drugstore products at once. HAHA. You don't have to keep saying how you like the tingle to make up for it though, you silly sweetie. I used to use that face wash, and I don't think it made me break out more than usual. I'm thinking of getting proactive since it's only like $20 a month now, lemme see if you have a review.

  • i agree i hate that mascara...I have long lashes and still refuse to use it. It doesn't build at all

  • I use a Chanel mascara and I love it. It has a great rubber brush. :)

Great Lash is awful.. Even the brush sucks.

  • you look like Jessica Alba here : )

  • You related a mascara to a bedroom romp. Haha!

  • yayy i have the same makeup remover d(^_^)b

  • body shop ?

like bath and body works ?

  • Oh my gosh the same thing happened to me! I thought I was just stressing but that is the same product I used and I didnt have acne before using it. If I can suggest Clinique's 3 step system they now have an acne formula that works well

  • If you have acne...this works!

Go to walmart and get a bottle of aspirin. Take about 5 aspirin in your hand and drop a little water in your hand until it forms a paste. Put this on your face as a mask. Leave it on your face until it dries and starts to fall off. Use this every night. It is like magic! Your acne will disappear....

  • for cheaper and better drugstore mascara.. i recommand L'oreal Hip Mascara! it works really well for me =)

  • do you know where i can get this in canada?

  • Tea tree oil is a little clearing miracle. (:

I do agree though, the scent is over powering.

You do tend to get used to it after so long though.

  • great lash is terrible....lancome have great mascaras, it's expensive though, but at least you know what you are getting....

  • Great Lash is "okay." I have semi-long lashes and it gets a little clumpy. But don't ever get it wet! It runs terribly. I suggest Maybellines Define-a-Lash because it doesn't run as much or clump. It does make the lashes long but not too thick. I haven't tried the waterproof/volume one yet, but I'm sure they're pretty much the same.

  • I have long eye lashes, and I use Maybelline great lash mascara.. and just like she said it does look better on my long eye lashes.

  • the mascara i use is natural collection curling mascara, its amazing and coats really well. try it somtime.

  • yeh i dont understand why people like greatlash theres nothing great about it at all. There are so many drugstore mascaras that are better.

  • I got the same result as you did when I used Clean & Clear. I threw it out after 1 week of seeing my skin drier than ever! But I picked up a bottle of "Cussons Natural Care 2 in 1 Gentle Cleansing & Toning Milk" and I am glad to say it's excellent. It was about $5 (in Australia), it smells nice and always leaves my skin feeling really smooth... plus it is hypoallergenic, so you know you will not develop a rash.

  • Ya i bought that mascara when i first started wearing make-up and it is terrorable!

  • thanks for the advice!! I'm going to have to try all the suggestions for blemishes on here, including the tea tree oil. I've tried a lot of skin products but they haven't made any of the blemishes go away.

  • it sounds weird but if u put tooth paste on your blemish for five mins then wash it off (don't get in eyes) it gives you a cool clean feeling and repeat for like a week all your blamishes should be gone(results for different people will vary)

    i use Colgate extra whiting..

  • lol, my friend used tooth paste for her acne & it burned her skin..

  • Its for blemishes and pimples NOT acne.

  • uhm its the same thing.

i'm not saying she rubbed it all over her face. she just put it the affected area.

  • omg i used clean and clear all threw highschool, i washed my face with it every night and i couldnt get why i was breaking out. turns out this stuff is really horrible, i went to a dermitologist and they told me it leaves a think layer of stuff on your skin. so basically it can breathe and causes major blemishes. now i just use dove soap and cream on my face and no blemishes in 2 years :)

  • i bought a tee tree product once. it wanst oil, more of a clear light cream. I used it and it didn't work. mabye the oil will.

  • I stared breaking out real bad just lately and I have no clue of how to get rid of it. Most of it has heal but it left red/brown spots on my face. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of the blemishes?

  • I know you asking me, but if I may...when I have a breakout/blemish, in addition to cleansing and using astringent, I also dab some Neosporin or Vaseline on the problem area. I started trying them 3+ years ago, figuring they help with cuts and Vaseline helps dry skin and lips, so why not give it a try? They both work for me...I put it on before bed and in one night's time, there's a noticable difference. The best part--they prevent scarring.

  • I meant, I know you weren't asking me*. At that comment was in response to FayeAKFSlove.

  • omg i hate clean&clear they really wrecked my beautiful skin it is not back to normal it has been like this for 1 month

  • thanks for the review! i hate the great lash mascara too. it sucks!!! :p

  • the same thing happens with proactive :|

it took me forever to get rid of my breakouts

  • Any face wash that makes my skin tingle always makes me break out. It feels good, but whatever is in it is bad for my skin obviously. Now I'm back to using good ol' St. Ive's.

  • I use lush's baby face and ultra bland its amazing stuff and may i recomend the Chocolate cupcake mask it really helps calms spots i use it like twice a week and it helps my skin so much and leaves it smooth and gorgeous, i never want to wear makeup after i have used it cause my skin glows!!

  • it happend to me too i started to break out it sucked.

  • Oh God.. The same happened to me when I was in Honolulu. I forgot my make up remover, AND face cleanser. So I ended up using my friend's "amazing" clean and clear morning burst for 12 days straight. I ended up having a face that my girls nicknamed, "The rocky mountains". It took 3 months for it to get back. I guess it's just not for me. ):

  • hahahaha i love your vids! <3 that was so funny when u stuttered trying to say the face wash. u sounded like a robot. and NO IM NOT making fun.

  • Oh and one that made me break out, was a face wash called AMBI.

  • I love your lip color in this vid! It's the perfect shade of pink. What kind is it????

  • I swear by the Eucerin cleanser; it's my go-to in winter when my skin gets dry and tight.

I don't know anybody who likes the Great Lash. I swear I think they make up those numbers and percentages of woman who like it and buy it.

  • Yikes, don't put 100% teatree oil on your skin!!! And the body shop one contains alcohol... badbadbad. Use benzoyl peroxide.

  • I'll see if I can get my mom to buy me some tea tree oil. About your lashes...try using brown eyeliner and any black, non-clumping mascara, it makes them look fuller. Also, try Cover Girl Lash Volume Exact. Great for making short lashes look longer. It's in a maroonish bottle.

  • u shud try the Avon eye makeup remover.. its cheap less dan $5 n its very mosturizing. It feels soooo good on ur skin n it doesnt smell bad.. well atleast 2 me

  • yeah i tried that thing too. it didnt work AT ALL

  • tea tree oil and paw paw cream are the ONLY products you need to fix ANYTHING - cuts, sores, abrasions, anything!

tea tree is antibacterial too and good for head lice.

we aussies have got it right :)

  • omg thank you.. thats what ivee been using and it was pissing me off because i just kept breaking out!
