What to do with the Broccoli stalk

Lol my parents usually cut the ends all up and slice them into thin slices and let them sit in vinegar and soy sauce and adds salt and sugar. Tastes pretty good we always eat them with congee :)

i don't even skin mine. I just cut it up into 1cm pieces then either bake, steam or boil.
