  • Can you use the chroma key effect in adobe premiere elements 8?

  • Yes you can. I use it on mine all the time. But i prefer using the "green screen" effect.

  • Uh this is good use of the Green Screen effect and all, but we aren't sure we want to know why you want to be in a field with sheep...sheep be very glad he's not really there....

  • Great job! I am new to green screen as well. I have had the program for over a year and am now just finding tutorials on how to do the green screen!

  • wrong!!!! you have the light in your face coming from your left hand side, the sun is reflecting the light from your right hand side on the video..... thats not very good!

  • hey gimme a break! - this was my very first ever attempt at chromakeying from years ago

  • What with the sheep

  • Hey Rick great job on all U'r work. I need U'r help. I hace Premiere CS3 and when I export movie to M/S AVI, uncompress, 29.97 pix rate, lower fields first, NTSC which my Chroma Key effect, I still get a distorted pixel (blocks) around my chroma key person. How do I get rid of the pixels aroud my person?

  • You did a good job compositing, but you should've flipped the video so that the brighter light on your face was on the left, in order to blend more with your background footage. Keep them coming!

  • thanks for the tip! this video was my very first attempt at bluescreen, and was made what seems like years ago!

  • i've done a few attemtps at my greensreen, but the footage was just too crap to put onto youtube lol, but i'll working on some stuff with it, so maybe soon

  • Cool Video Now I Just Need a green screen

  • Great effect. Could you give me some advice. I use Prem Ellements 3, background keys out OK, but subject very 'pixely' at the edges. Am I missing something (apart from a few brain cells?) Thanks

  • try adding a 'bluescreen' filter as well.

Failing that, if your bluescreen is too brightly lit, blue light will bounce onto the back of your subject and cause them to have a slight blue "aura" that your editing software will have trouble with.

  • Many thanks - already got some improvement!

  • now you just need to work on lighting your self correctly

  • Cool :)

  • HOLD TIGHT STELLA

  • i like your backround vids

  • Thanks :)

  • NAH STOP
