i really don't like the music chosen for this movie i feel like it doesn't fit with the movie but otherwise its a good story & the costumes and scenery are good.
It always makes me laught that these young women are supposed to be so modest. They won't be seen alone with a man, they only ride side saddle, their lives are centered around getting a man they don't know at all, etc. but they wear dresses where their breasts almost leap out of the bodduces! lol I don't know how the mothers at the time thought but as of today, I'd not allow it. / I wonder if Stephanie Meyers saw this. Just so much like her character Bella. I think she did. B can't dance 2.

@aDieuSeul hm, i assume it was rather directed to the viewer. like, so that we see how much she has to suffer, and that she is still so strong and brave... don't know, only my opinion. this movie might not be that realistic, but I still like it!!
I would say not to do that if you like this movie. The book was horrible. It was too sweet, too corny, especially compared to the book. There is a reason why Louisa May Alcott never published the book.
That's true Mrs Hamilton was trying to marry off Ida to James, but James does not see her in that way. I fell for Edith when he, first meet her and she did fell for him that first that she meet. That's right James is Edith from beginning to end.
