Due to YouTube changes which place uploaders' comments at the top, it looks as if my previous comment "Couldn't agree more" was in answer to the most recent comment under "All Comments" which for the last year has been the one by buffs1899, but in fact my comment was intended as a reply to stephenb1987's comment "get labour out of glasgow city council." (Just for clarification.)

This issue makes me very annoyed! Why do you want to send your children to rundown and under occupied schools? I think the council got it right. Why pay for two schools when they can be combined and brought to a higher standard? How many protesters voted in the council election? Probably not many. How many pay full council tax? Not many! How many simply don't like the idea of walking further in the morning? Most of them!!

Couldnt agree more! This shower in the council have showed nothing but utter contempt for the people of Glasgow. They had a sham consultation which showed overwhelming public support to keep the 25 schools open and yet they go ahead and vote in the Chambers to close them anyway. So much for public consultation! They seem to forget that we, the people, are their employers. They had better be worried at the next election!
