Ahaha, great review for a first time viewer! I've been watching Smallville since day one, tho I also wasnt ever into comics (I did like L&C back in the days tho; cept when I caught it in syndication in later years, I was O_O by all the *cheese* lmao) but yea, I got hooked for certain reasons... and altho the writing gets painful at times (ok a LOT), my curiousity owns me above all... so I'll be checking out the *7th* premiere next week!

HAHA, SHOULDER PADS!!!! Its good you tried the show out. The episode you watched was not the best but it was an above average episode. You should definitely watch the series from the beginning. The writing is up and down though and the acting is a bit weak in the first season but it just gets better. Lois and Clark was a great show too. I forgot to mention on my last comment i've uploaded some doctor next time trailers i edited together you should check them out.
