Apart from lighting ambience and subtle weather effects I can't see much of a difference from the game's mid settings. With a computer like that playing on higher settings at a smooth consistent framerate would still be awesome though. gg
@cdubs6789 Maybe he was new to SC2 and just transferred from BW where they don't have rally points. Either that or he was completely new and didn't know.
It can run on my crappy Inspiron 560S on lowest settings with ultra textures and 3D portraits with a high enough FPS. It can handle large battles at around 10-16 FPS and on other times 25-30 FPS
just got new video card that lets me run on max... this must of been made before the new lighting patch, extreme looks even better than this, or maybe just how you recorded =P
Nice graphics, but you should do something about your macro, you are hovering over 400 minerals way too soon. You would be dead at six minute mark if you played with me this way :)
hey man. i wanna have the same graphic as yours are u using a hardware or something cuz i play in my lap top and its all low and S.R is 1280x800. how can i get your kind of gameplay graphic?
@AlexYo234 errr try to run youtube on 480p or above to see diff also actually there is diff from high to ultra not a lot but.... eh small detail like sand cracks branches ... etc. :D
If I have a Intel Core i3 i3-380M with 4GB memory and the same video card as you, but run it on a lesser resolution (1366 x 768), would I still be able to play on high? And do laptops get really loud when you start playing games that require as much resource as Starcraft 2? Thanks!

I can only run on lowest possible, but out of curiosity, what are your computer specs?
And can your computer cope with massive scale battles and maintain a high enough FPS to micro effectively? If so, I would love to see some large scale battles on these graphics. :)
@DocAutopsy it is a Dell Studio XPS Q840 I7, video card is a ATI Radeon 5730 HD 1gb. I gotta try and mass battle and see where my fps stands havent tried that and also I just found out that i can play with the quality under the video cards software. this AI is really set hard, too bad I made it look easy to beat. btw what are you running?
@WrenchingWarrior Er...I never disputed the difficulty of the AI. LIke I said, I run on lowest possible. :)
Thanks for letting me know. I was considering getting that exact model next Christmas actually, so it's nice to see that it can run these insane graphics so well.
@DocAutopsy whoops didn't mean it that way :D inside humor...btw i was a bit vague what model laptop or system your running is what i meant. sry for confusion. thats great your getting the same model as me! post your vids and lemme check out your quality.
@TheChaosKhan the extreme graphics are for people into high detail gaming. The indirect shadows enables casting of indirect ambient shadows, like if more light hits an object it will cast many other shadows.
why did the AI say "good game"? I'm guessing that Player 2 was the AI since it was a one on one match and you said your playing against bots
