@Damonentreiber I just saw this film and I too was quite upset at seeing a cat suffer and die from poison. No worries though. I watched the scene with director's commentary on and the cat was simply sedated as it would be at a veterinary clinic. It woke up and was just fine but yeah, for an animal lover that's a difficult scene to watch. Other than that I really enjoyed the film. Will watch again but skip over the cat scene.
