Hey that's pretty cool. Instead of using a transducer which picks up vibrations of the whole body and converting them to electric you use a pickup positioned over the strings to pick up the sound and convert it to an electric sound.
Wish I had thought of doing that with my acoustic and an old pickup because transducing mine makes it WAY to sensitive to pick sounds and string noise and it doesn't come out nearly as clean as your setup does.

Thanks man. I'm going to try a guitar pickup next because the bass pickup emphasizes the low d string.
